@SlatervsCage Just a some shameful self promotion, but if you wanted to check a somewhat "decent" performance of the 2nd movement. There is a take on it on my account. check it out if you want.
Yeah it stands alone just fine. I played both at the recital this video is from. Performing both of them certainly gives a more accurate picture of the program, but either way is satisfying.
Casey, I would LOVE to buy this piece from you, but can you please tell me what that is at the end? The flicking, toenail-clipping stuff? I love the piece
I'm ask that the performer suspend chopsticks and then cut them one by one, alowing them to clack on the stage. Glad you like the piece, I hope to see you play it some day. Later
hi casey. Is this published? where can I find? do they send to Uruguay? South America. I ¡d like to play on my bachelor exam. Thanks a lot!

Casey, do you feel that the first movement can stand alone? Did you just perform one movement in this concert (just out of curiosity)?

the rolling the bassdrum mallet on the head to create sustain is something I never would have thought of as a compositional technique. That is awsome

So cool... what are you flicking at the end? It's a bit hard to make out as the camera zooms out there. Keep up the great work.
