  • hi casey. Is this published? where can I find? do they send to Uruguay? South America. I ¡d like to play on my bachelor exam. Thanks a lot!

  • Incredible.

  • what was happening at the end? it looked like he was cutting something. What was it?

  • Will you be posting a video of the 2nd movement any time soon?

  • @SlatervsCage Just a some shameful self promotion, but if you wanted to check a somewhat "decent" performance of the 2nd movement. There is a take on it on my account. check it out if you want.

  • what happened at the end?

  • i practice this piece...it's awsome...but i don't understand the final with that chinese sticks...:D it's cool!;)

  • @adnanadgob im betting if you look up the story behind the name, you would understand.

  • @ZDrums24 i understand this piece, but i was saying about that sticks how can i put to that support:)

  • LOL a little slow with the recovery off the stick break...

    Damn. Just wow. Amazing.

  • Casey, do you feel that the first movement can stand alone? Did you just perform one movement in this concert (just out of curiosity)?

  • Yeah it stands alone just fine. I played both at the recital this video is from. Performing both of them certainly gives a more accurate picture of the program, but either way is satisfying.

  • Awesome work Casey! Great ending. Very original and captivating.

  • Hey thanks Ty,

I just sent a student of mine your video of the Ziek Concerto. What's up for you next? Staying in U-town?

  • hey casey im performing this in a couple days for my junior recital...i hope you like my version...i'll post it up if all goes well...wish me luck!!!

  • Truly inspirational. Thank you.

  • the rolling the bassdrum mallet on the head to create sustain is something I never would have thought of as a compositional technique. That is awsome

  • awesome piece by the way!

  • what kind of drum is the one on the far left of the bongos and on a snare stand?

haha What was going through your head when your stick broke?

  • Casey, I would LOVE to buy this piece from you, but can you please tell me what that is at the end? The flicking, toenail-clipping stuff? I love the piece

  • I'm ask that the performer suspend chopsticks and then cut them one by one, alowing them to clack on the stage. Glad you like the piece, I hope to see you play it some day. Later

  • upload more marimba solos mang!

  • So cool... what are you flicking at the end? It's a bit hard to make out as the camera zooms out there. Keep up the great work.

  • Simply amazing!!!

  • nice work, everything blending together works out great, good song =) nicely executed 5/5 wish Greg good luck at auditions for me.
