It is a special sound - played by Keith, the band director in our small MN town - his son is on the drums and our friend Jan, a 4th grade teacher is on guitar and vocals.
My father died from lung cancer DEC 23 1999,so good luck to your battle and I wish many more days for you.You sing and play great and we all need more of that.
Here's hope you survive the cancer. This vid broke my heart:-)
But shit you not we got greater things to look for in Heaven, that I know for a fact.
So keep your eyes upwards to Heavan and Jesus Christ. He's our Saviour, and nothing can come between it. So we got a place to gather, we can pick music all the time, trust me God wants to hear the music.
Anybody who don't believe, sad to say, you lose. Simple as That. Sure we may falter in what we do, but long as we know it, Our Lord will protect us
Great job on a great song, your voice reminds me alot of either Peter or Paul of Peter, Paul, and Mary. Bless ya, Im a fellow cancer survivor, best regards
Make sure to leave Joe South at note... joesouth(dot)com - Joe was born 28 February 1940, in Atlanta, Georgia - send him a birthday greeting!
Also, I just looked for places to download Joe's music and if you check Amazon(dot)com/mp3 - they will have 12 of Joe's songs under "Classic Masters: Joe South" available on Feb 19th for download... 256kbs mp3's at $.89 - Let's hope that at least a fraction of the $ will make it to the man who deserves it!

Excellent. There's no music better than the kind that is performed right from the heart.

I like it when you sing you raise me up,
you appear to be doing a job making it your own - own the song - sing it so it means something to you and us.
