  • i really, really, really tried to just watch her play and listen but those awesome life-supporting mammary glands kept me distracted.

  • realy inpressed with this good clean drumming and realhy smooth into the time change wich i though was excellent seemless drumming well done one of the best female drummers ive seen in a while :)

  • Alright drumming.

Cringed when i heard the guitar.

  • hi there Dee!! very happy to see someone who's not only good looking, but also good at drums :D

I have a question, I've been starting to play drums on electronic drums (overall I'm also a beginner to drumming too) and everytime i hit the bass drum I feel like it's lacking power. up until now I play barefoot and have flatfoot condition.

are you advising playing with shoes? if so, what kind of shoes is, say, recommended for drumming?

    thank you!

    HandMeSomeGold

  • @handmesomegold hi, Thank you for your kind words.

The answer to your question is everything you are doing is wrong and can be corrected very easily just but changing a couple of things. Never play bare foot, i can never get a grip on the pedal when i play barefoot, and never play flat footed, if you are after power you need to drive your feet into the pedal using your whole leg, play with your toes on the pedal a 3rd of the way up, f you look at your pedal it usually is shaped the same as ....

  • Respond to this video... ... as your foor would be, then relax your leg so your toes are on the pedal, try to relax, dont lift your feet up make sure theyre horizontal with the floor, when you play then play with the whole leg, hoep this helps if not let me know and ill make a video to show you.

  • @Dee603 thanks for the tip! but if you don't mind, could you make the explanation video? i think i could understand better by seeing the real thing than only with words. i really appreciate it!

  • wow! what a great cover, lovingly recreated. its a shame that muse doesn't get the attention they deserve in the states. we're too busy with lil wayne or the latest 14 year old bubble gum throw up queen. haha cheers on great playing on a great song

  • b4 u told me to try not to use tab cuz some times its wrong and i should do it by ear like hear it and learn it like that..i try to do that but what if its wrong?? what bout like extra fills and all the other tech stuff ?? lol thank you :D and awsome covers !!!

  • @mattcheu28 It doesn't matter if it's wrong, i don't play songs to the original most of the time cause then it's boring, you'll notice i don't play my covers exactly the same, you need to add you own flavor to it. You can add your own fills, make them up etc, it'll be good for your playing to progress and your creativity to build up. I really don't recommend Tabs to anyone, i recommend you play using your ears, you get used to the sound the drums produce.

  • Really nice. I like the part where you're working the toms and the snare with the foot working the hi hat. Looks like fun.

  • Damn really good cover of stockholm syndrome. You should cover the resistance next

  • @Bankotsu897 Thanks, resistance is a great track, I'll see what i can do!

  • @Bankotsu897 Check out the resistance cover mate... in my videos! thanks for mentioning this one... had alot of fun doing it.

    Hope you enjoy

    Thanks

    Dee
