@Liz09A Elvis, the silver cat figured it out right away. He has always been a forager and very food centric. The brown cat, Layla had to learn. We started her out by opening both halves of the feeder and putting in her favorite treat; not something that was in her bowl. We left it open for a couple of days and found it all over the house so she got the idea that food was in there. We closed it and put some treats in the well. We did it in the morning with no competing dish food..

This is cool. I just ordered a foraging toy that's just a ball with food inside, but I like how this one is weighted so they have to work even harder to get the food out.
