It's nothing to do with Northern Ireland! The intro refers to 'Get Carter' - which stars (guess who?) and the style is the 60s Harry Palmer films. The supporting actors are cast to look like those from Ipcress and Funeral in Berlin....

I'm greatly impressed by the fact that Madness appear to be appreciated by such a diverse section of society, and I'm also pleased that Madness have such an international appeal. @noole1994 Don't worry if you don't understand as their isn't really any storyline. Actually the song is about a hypothetical British 'informer' during the Northern Irish troubles. Guess the link to the actor Michael Caine is he famously played a British spy in the 1965 film Ipcress Files.
