Yeah seriously, why do guys like this waste everyone's time. Sonic is classic and it's great to see him, but if your gonna take 6 minutes from me you could at least do well.

My grandparents bought this for my siblings in 1992. It was handed down to me. I've been playing this game my whole life, and I still have the 17-year old original cassette and the Sega Genesis. They still work, and I still play them on a regular basis.

ahh man i remembr playin this as a kid it was my first game ever at 5 years old or maybe 10 i will admit to u all that i was never able to beat this gamn wihout the cheat it prob stil is very hard to do from start to finish man classic brings back memories

Actually, in Japan, he was *always* named Eggman. When they localized the Sonic series, for some reason they renamed him "Robotnik". However, in Sonic Adventure 1 they decided to change his name back to the original one when translating it for some reason.

TBH I can play that level better than you two. Even I was better at it than you when I was 7 and 8 and I was new to video games then.

The reason the sound is different on there is because it's on PS2 on Sonic Mega Collection Plus. It's also on gamecube for Sonic Mega Collection. The sound was a little different on both than on Genesis.
