When Paul dies what will we do? He has always been there making great music. I still LOVE Band on the Run. I don't know, I guess we will go on. I hope it is a long time from now.
@XxATTAKRxX i watched a documentary on it and i think he is but we have no proof and plus the guy impersonating hims made some of the best music ever so i dont think fans mind but i do
@scvbtr2 You ignorant whore, he never said he was Jesus. He said they were bigger than Jesus in popularity. You need to make sure you know what you're talking about from now on, idiot.
@scvbtr2 You are an idiot. John Lennon was a real person, Jesus Christ is a character. Even if he had claimed that he was Jesus (which he didn't) it would've been no different from me claiming to be Harry Potter.
That band is immense..... overpowering... and Paul really holds his own on guitar -- I was surprised. Hits most of the high notes too. Like some others have said here, I was crying by the end. It's not the most complicated music but it is pop-rock perfection. I will play this over and over every day for the foreseeable future!
@mills7226 No my friend is not Faul, he is Sir James Paul McCartney and I think it's a real nonsense to believe that someone like Paul he can Replaces as a musician in his face and also to be a lefty. If you say there are many ams Preben but I have evidence that is still alive. I'm sorry if my English is not very good I'm from mexico
Trying to figure out exactly what role the 'conductor' thinks he is playing in this performance. Surely no one in their right mind thinks the tempo transitions require him (yes, I'm a conductor, and sometimes you just need to get out of the way). Fun video, awesome on so many levels. Thanks so much for sharing!
OMFG... OMFG!!! Two of the most talented human beings on the face of earth (Phil Collins and Paul McCartney) playing this masterpiece... together!!! Didn't even know this existed - thanks a hell!
Dude! The whole band is kick ass!!! Collins, Clapton, Knopfler and McCartney... If I was part of that band, I wouldn't need sex in my whole life anymore!!!
@jasrogg AMEN! Phil Collins was one of the reasons why I took up drumming. Sad that he won't ever play again due to spinal injuries and nerve damage to his hands. Glad I got to see Phil play drums with Genesis one last time in Boston (before his back problems manifested itself in Montreal a few days after I saw Genesis in Boston). Phil plus Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Paul Wickens, Robbie MacIntosh, Phil Palmer and (I think) John Giblin is one Hell of a supergroup.
As a Boomer, I've listened to alot of rock/pop music, both "classic rock" and everything that is currently produced. I still say that "Abbey Road" is the greatest album ever made, not for any great innovation, but for sheer excellence and enjoyment.
With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes" -- a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance and historical events all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

This was the first song that I sang to my little boy. I told my wife that I would sing this song to him when we were dating in high school 15 years ago. This song means so much. God love The Beatles.
@XxChrisXx1231 Probably because the comments being made are about a "live" performance by Paul McCartney.........& not for a "ditto" by John. It would be beyond cool if John (George & Ringo) were performing this.......but sadly they aren't. Or just John & George! Paul & his Band do a Grade-A KICK-ASS JOB of taking the Beatles' Music throughout the world.......not to mention his solo & Wings material. I'd like to dedicate this to my husband that died March 14 2011. I never once stopped loving you. I will love you till the day I die. A day will not go by that I will not think of you. I miss you honey. I believe you will be at the gates waiting for me. I live for that day. In the mean time Jesus must have work for me to do here.

@taxpayinghorse Sweetheart, he will be waiting to take you home when your time comes. I will put you in my prayers. I don't know what I did to deserve my wife of 20 years but it must have been something really good. I don't know what I would do without her.
