  • Can you even imagine having to sit behiind Paul McCartney and have to play an instrument. My lord bit nerve racking.

  • ill go back home....the paul ERA!!!

  • Genio!!!!! Saludos desde San Juan, ARGENTINA!!!!! Viva Paul!!!! Viva The Beatles!!!!

  • Absofuckinglutely BRILLIANT!!

    GENIUS!!

  • 7 people are deaf in one ear & can't hear out the other...

  • Phil Collins is unquestionably one of the top five drummers in rock history.

  • Wow, just wow

  • "Smiles" was a nickname Paul had for Linda. People have disagreed about this before, but here you can clearly hear Paul say the second 's' at :46.

  • Now, that was cool

  • Has this concert been released on DVD? I'm not familiar with it.

  • @dbeatlefreak Its on DVD called Music for Monserrat. It was a benefit for the island that was devistated by a natural disaster. It is from 1997.

  • @dachille1 Thank you!

  • Oh my fucking God...

  • Actually, is not just "GOLDEN SLUMBERS", but Golden Slumbers/ Carry That Weight / & THE END... just as recorded in Abbey Road

  • ... and in the end the love you'll take is equal to the love you've made!

    Fantastic!

First time I heard it in 1974. Nearly 40 years ago - this religion still live inside!)

    Thank you!

  • Phil Collins kills it.

  • He has to carry the weight of the Beatles on his shoulders.

  • Very Powerful ...

  • When Paul dies what will we do? He has always been there making great music. I still LOVE Band on the Run. I don't know, I guess we will go on. I hope it is a long time from now.

  • turn me on dead man, turn me on dead man, turn me on dead man

  • one day it will lullaby for my children

  • I would break my hands to play with Sir Paul

  • @CSavageSr but then you couldnt play

  • @Tattoomom1725 Very good point. I went fanboy for a second, thanks for bringing back down to earth. Man I love the song Golden Slumbers.

  • @CSavageSr yeah me to but i need my hands

  • Comment removed

  • @CSavageSr but if you broke your hands you wouldn't be able to play...... and that would be sad if you couldn't.

  • I went down the wrong road once.

  • Why is Britain the source of all the cool music?

  • @CSavageSr hey now, we had jimi dont forget that. noone forget that.

  • @CSavageSr mmm not ALL, but most of it, maybe it's genetic??

  • Paul McCartney is dead.

  • @XxATTAKRxX nope

  • @smalltowngirl771 DEEAAAAD I SAY!!

  • @XxATTAKRxX i watched a documentary on it and i think he is but we have no proof and plus the guy impersonating hims made some of the best music ever so i dont think fans mind but i do

  • How long?

  • just WONDERFUL...

  • Great tune

  • And in the end . . . the love you take is equal to the love you make . . . One of the best lyrics in music ever!

  • i love paul`s face at 00:06

  • Dream band.. Clapton, Knopfler, Macca and Collins...

  • @keyblok 100% DREAM BAD <3 DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN THAT WOULD BE ORGASMIC SURREAL ... EGERYTHING

  • Comment removed

  • I had an orgasm

  • i bet he really misses john and George

  • @darkangel1121 its a testament to him that he's survived

  • g martin conducting nice

  • John died because he claimed to be JESUS CHRIST, which he was far far far far from. Nice music though.

  • @scvbtr2 You ignorant whore, he never said he was Jesus. He said they were bigger than Jesus in popularity. You need to make sure you know what you're talking about from now on, idiot.

  • @scvbtr2 lmao your retarded.

  • @scvbtr2 You are an idiot. John Lennon was a real person, Jesus Christ is a character. Even if he had claimed that he was Jesus (which he didn't) it would've been no different from me claiming to be Harry Potter.

  • @alexwilsonNC Can't tell if troll or annoying atheist

  • That band is immense..... overpowering... and Paul really holds his own on guitar -- I was surprised. Hits most of the high notes too. Like some others have said here, I was crying by the end. It's not the most complicated music but it is pop-rock perfection. I will play this over and over every day for the foreseeable future!

  • 5 minutes and 34 seconds of music lesson

  • Love this song! Literally this song was a part of my childhood.

  • waw... amazing....

  • He didn't do "her majesty" :(

  • @MrPabloMartinI He never does. It makes me sad too

  • ommmmg <3 IM CRYING !!! Once there was a way to get back home .. I will sing a lullaby

  • ОН ГЕНИЙ! Такую музыку мог писать только гениальный композитор.

  • можно охуеть!уму не постижимо!брависсимо!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This isn't his music. Faul!!!!! :)

  • @mills7226 No my friend is not Faul, he is Sir James Paul McCartney and I think it's a real nonsense to believe that someone like Paul he can Replaces as a musician in his face and also to be a lefty. If you say there are many ams Preben but I have evidence that is still alive. I'm sorry if my English is not very good I'm from mexico

  • 4:59 george martin??!!!

  • Kind of a shame he has to ask permission to sing his own songs ... but he owns other peoples' catalogs too.

  • Maravilhoso!!!!

    Marina - Curitiba - Brazil

  • Dream Team at work! Superb!

  • That's not Paul, That's William Campbell A.K.A Billy Shears

  • @2014bigpoppa a.k.a. faul a.k.a. false paul

  • @MetalYoshi64 I think or say is a real no nonsense can replanting a musician as Paul McCartney

  • @2014bigpoppa I think or say is a real no nonsense can replanting a musician as Paul McCartney

  • wtf with these 5 guys?

  • Paul, Clapton, Phil...all legends

  • @peteyguitarguy and Knopfler too=)

  • Thats a serious line up!!! When did this happen??

  • @tclaw1 1991 / 1992 aprrox I was there the Royal Albert Hall, London

  • Pauls voice is going :(

  • Trying to figure out exactly what role the 'conductor' thinks he is playing in this performance. Surely no one in their right mind thinks the tempo transitions require him (yes, I'm a conductor, and sometimes you just need to get out of the way). Fun video, awesome on so many levels. Thanks so much for sharing!

  • Within 12 days I'll see Paul live in Milan. Shivers.

  • The way he sings it, you'd think he wrote it and did the original.

  • @sirdaveo lulz

  • @sirdaveo he did

  • @sirdaveo he did

  • When was this concert? Can you get in on DVD?

  • Have you ever noticed that paul was the first to use strings in contremperary pop. Now days everyone uses them.

  • wow. goosebumps..

  • Is that Mark knopfler and eric clapton up there as well? Man that's a badass show.

  • ポールに、クラプトン、フィル・コリンズ、そしてマーク・ノップラー・・・曲がゴールデン・スランバーからジ・エンドまでのメドレー・・・なんて贅沢なんだろう・・・

  • Superb!!!!!!!

  • Is that Max Weinberg? LOL

  • pauls old now

  • OMFG... OMFG!!! Two of the most talented human beings on the face of earth (Phil Collins and Paul McCartney) playing this masterpiece... together!!! Didn't even know this existed - thanks a hell!

  • @CollapsingRealities Give me a fucking break you idiot.

Phil Collins is a fucking piece of shit. Britain rejoiced in 1996 when he fucking LEFT.

  • あまりの感動に、ナダ・ソウソウ 涙が止まらない!タンディガ・タンディ!!

  • Phil Collins is a kick ass drummer!

  • @jasrogg yes he is... and M.Knopfler - Lord of Guitar

  • @DrabOk No Knopfler is the Sultan of Swing.LOL!

  • @jasrogg imagine how is ringo

  • @jasrogg could never beat ringo

  • @jasrogg Phil Collins, is, the drum.

  • @jasrogg

Dude! The whole band is kick ass!!! Collins, Clapton, Knopfler and McCartney... If I was part of that band, I wouldn't need sex in my whole life anymore!!!

  • @jasrogg AMEN! Phil Collins was one of the reasons why I took up drumming. Sad that he won't ever play again due to spinal injuries and nerve damage to his hands. Glad I got to see Phil play drums with Genesis one last time in Boston (before his back problems manifested itself in Montreal a few days after I saw Genesis in Boston). Phil plus Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Paul Wickens, Robbie MacIntosh, Phil Palmer and (I think) John Giblin is one Hell of a supergroup.

  • one song i like to hear Niel Diamond sing

  • Whole "Abbey Road" album is amazing...

  • most times i look for a higher res than 240p to improve the sound.. with this i dont care. the song is already perfect

  • I cry everytime I hear this song.. reminds me of a girl i once loved and miss.....God bless you out there......

  • El mejor, sin dudas!!!Genio total!!

  • Golden slumbers?

Nothing for you, coz you accept the REAL, the challenge, but want and deserve a man you can just-trust just-as-well, for YOU are fully-trust-worthed-too?

    Find me.

    Bernard

I'll travel the world to recognize your truly woman-talent.

  • Everyone dreams and thinks of the best things this world has to offer , the Beatles will always be part of that dream they were a gift from God .

  • that guy at the 4:59 is george martim (producer of the beatles) ?

  • @missthebeatles yes.

  • @missthebeatles claro! este es el concierto que organizo george martin para monzerrat !

  • Who ever said; You Get Better With Age, got it right with these guys.

'and in the end the love you take is equal to the love you gave'

    beautiful

  • Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, George Martin and Paul McCartney. God, how I miss those days!

  • Is it me or that looks like Phil Collins is on the drums?

  • @noneoftheaboveist yes it is.

  • @noneoftheaboveist i was wondering the same thing but im pretty sure it is !

  • STILL THE BEST!!!!!

  • i used to sing to my daughter

  • GOD IS ON ALL OF US, SORRY ABOUT YOR LOST, SOMEDAY YOU'LL BE TOGETHER AGAIN I assure you...GOD BLESS

  • What year was this ?

    Thank you in advance x

  • hes amazing

  • Nopfler, Clapton, Martin & McCartney Wow...

  • I too lost my husband on 3/14/11. And this song has been playing in my head. I don't know if I'll meet him at the gates, all I know is that I miss him.

  • @MsBribro1 If you have doubts about your salvation then there is a good chance you are not heaven bound. If you would like to discuss this let me know. I can explain how you can tell for sure where you will be going when you die.

  • this is the most buitiful song made by man and when i'm in the dumps or the past cames back to haunt me i like to listen to this:)

  • aaawwwww, he sounds the same :)

  • If someday I have children I will sing this, "Blackbird" and "Strawberry fields forever" before they go to sleep

  • Wonderful, can't stop thinking about Chris Bliss every time I hear this!

  • abbey road - my first album music has be a let down ever since

  • The first 35 seconds of this are pure musical genius.

  • Ahh I stood up from my computer, cried and clapped all by myself, that was so wonderful Love you Paul!! -3

  • This was the first song that I sang to my little boy. I told my wife that I would sing this song to him when we were dating in high school 15 years ago. This song means so much. God love The Beatles.

  • thank god george martin too

  • hermosa cancion, Paul sigue siendo lo maximo, no puedo parar de escucharlo...

  • I like him very much.That's a beautiful song

  • listening and not watching i thought 'man, those drums are weak'. then i saw phil collins.

  • i dont want to be a downer i love paul but why does every one gives all the credit to paul what about John.......

  • @XxChrisXx1231 just because paul sings this song, i think.

  • @XxChrisXx1231 You're right - John, Paul, George and Ringo = GOD !!!

  • @XxChrisXx1231 Probably because the comments being made are about a "live" performance by Paul McCartney.........& not for a "ditto" by John. It would be beyond cool if John (George & Ringo) were performing this.......but sadly they aren't. Or just John & George! Paul & his Band do a Grade-A KICK-ASS JOB of taking the Beatles' Music throughout the world.......not to mention his solo & Wings material. The older he gets, the more he seems determined to do it until (God forbid) he literally drops.

  • @XxChrisXx1231 - Well, I don't know what others have written here, but in the case of this particular medley, all of the songs are by McCartney. There are other songs earlier in the medley that are Lennon's, but this is entirely Paul.

  • and in the end

    the love you take

    is equal to the love

    you make :)

  • man this is awesome clapton,Mccartney,Knopfler, collins all together

  • esperava mais dele

  • So many persons doesn't know may be. The movie that used this music in Japan was made about two years ago. I like the movie. The movie was taken in Sendai in Japan. Sendai received big damage due to the large earthquake several months ago. Sendai got lots of buildings broke and big tsunami. After that, I went to Sendai listening to this music. Sendai was a dire situation. Loved song and loved movie. And, loved Sendai took so meny thing that having struck it is very sad for me.

  • is that eric clapton playing that fender?

  • excellent excellent excellent excellent excellent excellent excellent !!!!!!

  • Dear Metalguitar , congratulation for this upload but it's incredible how much you loved your husband...And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you gave...

  • I loved this song since I first heard it in 1969--Paul McCartney is just as cute and as ever!!! My husband passed away on 14 Oct 2010...I had a soloist sing Let it Be at his funeral and I will have "and in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make" inscribed on his head(and mine) ...classic timeless music, thank you Paul, you still rock imo :-)

  • omg hes still as cute as ever awwwwww!!! =)

  • i came.

  • I Want to cry to this song :) so touching

  • He really, really looks gorgeous in that shirt!

  • a song with such feeling

  • lovely.. true sad song..

  • I listen to this song every night before I go to sleep. Paul is just so... indescribably amazing.

  • Amazing. Spectacular. God damn.

  • He really hasn't changed, has he? I'll love him forever.

  • i miss the young paul... but not too YOUNG. only 10 years younger, because now sometimes he can't sing high notes, but anyway this is the best song that i can listen for my lost love at 3am. this wednesday i'll go to pauls concert in my country, chile. SEE YA PAUL

  • @aerofranco01 Who knows? Maybe you'll run into your lost love at Paul's concert in Chile. And maybe she'll be with her found love since dumping your overly sentimental ass. Maybe she'll spot you in the crowd, and flip you the bird. If she does that, will you still love this song, you sentimental old fluff, you?

  • Oh my goodness!!! Paul performing amazingly, George Martin directing the orchestra and Phil Collins playing the drums!!! Please tell me when/ where this concert was.!!

  • @MyLittleSpanishClass This concert of the millenium was staged right in your own neighborhood, about 1/2 mile away, and you missed it!

  • @MyLittleSpanishClass Concert for Monserrat .. 1997.

  • @MyLittleSpanishClass

    And Mark Knopfler on guitar

  • It's Phil Collins on the drums???

  • Amazing. Sounds just like the record.

  • @TheCrazycupcake9 Sounds like the record because it's very close to George Martin's original orchestral arrangement, with only slight alteration due to instrumentation, that even the most professional of musicians, will not be able to discern. I transcribed (wrote out the entire orchestral arrangment, note for note) the entire second side of the Abbey Road album years ago for a Beatles tribute show done with band and a large orchestra.

  • I'd like to dedicate this to my husband that died March 14 2011. I never once stopped loving you. I will love you till the day I die. A day will not go by that I will not think of you. I miss you honey. I believe you will be at the gates waiting for me. I live for that day. In the mean time Jesus must have work for me to do here.

  • @taxpayinghorse God bless to your husband and to you too,,, peace and love

  • @taxpayinghorse Sweetheart, he will be waiting to take you home when your time comes. I will put you in my prayers. I don't know what I did to deserve my wife of 20 years but it must have been something really good. I don't know what I would do without her.
