Its easy math. EU has always been a thorn in Russians' side. Klaus, too, is a fierce critic of a greater EU integration and moreover is a keen supporter of Russian influence in the CZ, which is borne out by some of his favorable comment and actions (see Georgia crisis, gas conflict, meeting with Russian agents, russian mafia). Russia tries to infiltrate my country and eventually EU to create economic and political ties so that she can eventually extort us. It tags together like a box of bricks.
Thanks for your compliment and please allow me to consider it as a serious one! ;-)
You may click my name and see a few videos where this accent is used e.g. for Polish language (Ivan Mládek, Józek z bagien) or Russian language (the same song, Russian translation with the fairy-tale icon). ;-) Among others.

Mr President, please save us from the EUSSR.
« The EU can lawfully suppress political criticism of its institutions and of leading public figures «( European Court of Justice ruling 2001 ).
The European Charter of Fundamental Rights (art.2,passage 2) states that lethal force can be used to quell « rioting, civil upheaval & during war ».
The same Charter does NOT mention the right of EU citizens to VOTE.
Perhaps they forgot.
Let's remind them in the European elections.
Good luck Sir.
