Thru the latter half of the vid is poster frame espousing that "some people start to make a lot of money, monopolized some industries and exploited consumers. That's why we needed government to help us"
How backwards is that?
During the display of this hogwash the narrator is explaining how a Mr Swift INVENTED some devices and methods that enabled his business to provide more product to more people at a lower cost to the end consumer. Guess it's true, no good deed goes unpunished.
Granted, the channel op does not appear to espouse that same backwards thinking. I find the lack of hinting at the irony between the demonstrable truth and commonly held belief mildly unsettling.
Where's the mention that creating and innovating markets is not anything like monopoly creation and that by punishing innovators for their works will only lead to less innovation to everyone's detriment. But once again the thief Robin Hood is held up as a hero when in reality he is but a petty thief.
If one employs the same logic which reasons that "war = peace" and "stupid = smart", then sure, the video makes sense. Otherwise, it's what known in the real world as "bullshit".
Unfortunately, this message has a tough row to hoe, because everyone is convinced (against all the evidence) that without interference, capitalism will result in monopolization of every market sector. Who is teaching people this, and how soon can we put them in jail for crimes against humanity??
If somebody showed me a monopoly not created through government interference (in other words, a "natural" monopoly created through the free market) then I would consider anti-trust laws.
wtf?

Antitrust laws protect established industries from needed competition and hurt consumers.
