The Rabbi doesn't bless the food that is such a misconception ...The Rabbi who supervises a company for kosher status makes sure all food products are kosher and run according to jewish law....Christians have there own form of biblical food laws like no eating meat on lent ....its just much easier for people to be hateful towards something they do not understand ...this is sick

People should just start walking away from jobs that don't satisfy them and take their chances in the non-Jewish employment sector, which happens to be much larger than you might expect. I've done it several times. It's not an easy transition each time, but my self-respect is intact. I really believe it's time for Americans to grow a pair, and go after what WE want.

@Adam420Dreadz Grocery stores are owned by the state? I don't think even in Sweden that's true, just the liquor stores. You're argument makes no sense. Groceries are (mostly) foods. Grocery stores don't carry holy water because people don't drink holy water. Who would think to get holy water at a grocer? They carry Kosher food because people eat it and therefore it sells. Or would you rather Jews go back to living ghettos and do their shopping and living there?

@snoteroni Blessing the food is key. In fact it's the only objective thing about what Kosher means. Things are labeled Kosher because there is also large agreement that a given food complies with the dietary laws in the Torah AND it's been blessed.
