  • BESTIAL!!!!!!! GREAT!!!!!!!

  • Oh, Lux and Ivy's love music sets my blood on fire like nobody else's. When I listen to them I can do anything.

  • we got good taste

  • Could somebody tell me what the last song was that they played in the video? Thank you.

  • The Most Exalted Potentate of Love.

  • Thank you

  • Why the fuck couldn't I be alive and around when this was going on? My dumb luck.

  • yeaa really .

  • i know man, it sucks.

  • the great showman of all times

  • Poor Lux. What a charismatic guy

  • First band i ever saw live (1985 at the Apollo, Manchester UK) and no-one else has ever measured up..God bless you Lux there's one rocker missing down here...and one more up there.

  • or down there

(on the bottom of the black leather lagoon?)

  • The end of Lux is the end of an era because for thirty years the Cramps have been sending the message of "Hey!, what is wrong with this picture?". And as we can see the rebels have been right all along. This country is fucked up. The Cramps version of Heartbreak Hotel was a masterpiece of satirical commentary. They topped both Freberg and Spike Jones with that one. Loved ya Lux even if I never did any drugs.

  • "This country is fucked up..." ...and you needed The Cramps to tell you that???

  • No actually, Reagan went on TV and said "My fellows Americans, anybody who has seen one of my movies knows about space guns"

  • firstly.....what country?

2ndly........stop the hate....take your clothes off and dance ....too the cramps...

  • 128 West 45th Street, New York City.

Yes, dance! Dance and Stay Sick!

  • saw them at stubbs. Lux and i were stickin our fingers in each others ears and stickin out our tongues and each other face to face, such a gas

  • The pictures of you that I took at The Cuckoo's Nest where you unzipped those vinyl 'front-to-back' chick pants and dropped to the ground as the Bouncer tried (in vain) to cover you, and you continued to gyrate, spew, drool, grimace, and pout to "The Way I Walk" while your left nut was in plain view -it confirmed what we always knew about genius: It comes quick, cheap, and wet. Thank you, Lux. And thank you Ivy and the rest. See you at the funeral.

  • When is the funeral?

  • It was on February the 21st. Poor Ivy...

  • RIP Lux, safe journey my friend.

  • R.I.P. Lux Interior. Thanks for all the killer live shows!!!!

  • now i´m 35 and i heard allmust everiday the cramps ,Cramps never died for me.

  • normaly i heard classic punk but in the end of the 80s wen i was a boy with 15/16 years old i buy meny vinil discs of the cramps like

stay sick ,of the bone , a date with Elvis ,smel of female ,bad music for bad people (its a bit like of the bone, i say many tracks are) but i buy it anyway. so thats wy i like the Cramps.

  • and i forgot to say that the Cramps its a great band

  • yes, Poison Ivy is very very sexy.

  • i red almust the commentarys and nobody said the Poison Ivy its one of the most sexy musician of all time .the hair the style everithing on her its sexy.

    ooo my god.......

  • doesn't look like they used a soundsystem here lol

  • What a show---wow!

  • thank you for sharing. the most exalted potentate of love indeed.

  • this is the funkiest thing i have seen

yow!!Cramps come back!especially now, during christmesstime. Lux is true r&R spirit!

  • just...amazing !!! THE CRAMPS RULES !!...

  • this NOT anywhere near live

  • put it like this... 2 weeks later i saw the ramones at the same place.... i'd guessetimate they had 30 percent amplification

( but we got back stage and i met da brothers!... thats was a cool night out!)

  • would have loved to have been there... i saw them in 86 in sheffield... most of the tour they used to club sound system.. but the university octagon didn't have a band PA... so bands hired there own... and even for a band with a reputation for being loud the cramps went fucking mad!... the speaker stack must have been 15 feet by 25 feet on 'each' side of the stage!!!!... i was half deaf with tinitus for 3 fucking days!s... the loudest band i have ever heard. and friends.. i've heard loud bands!

  • I would have given almost anything to have been 21 in 1984 so I could have seen that show

  • Would it be a bad idea to see them on acid? Just wondering... Is it too rowdy? I'm not a pussy, but I think the Cramps and psychodelics might go hand in pants...

  • pssssssssssssssss... cooooool...

  • one of the transcendental shows of my life was the Cramps at the Peppermint Lounge (not this show, an earlier one). The place was completely packed, so many people that you simply couldn't fall--everyone bouncing up and down for an hour or so. I was liquid by the end...especially since I was positioned in front of Ivy the whole time...I fell in love that day...thanks for the memories!
