i love this song. a few yrs ago, my ex-bf and i were strolling down the beach and we passed by a bar where a guy was singing this song. before leaving the island, my bf kept singing this song.we eventually broke up but we remained good friends.unfortunately,he died last year due to a vehicle accident.how ironic.now this is my song for him.

One of the great things about a Pearl Jam show is the feeling of unity of the crowd as a whole and the unity of the crowd with the band. Ed even encourages the crowd to sing along. Why? Because it's amazing to experience and to hear. Where else in life can you sing along in exuberance with thousands of other people?

i was there, i went to 14 concerts on that tour. It was Awesome....Ed is the Man...oh goodness he climbed to the roof on a string ladder, the effer scared me to death, he is simply amazing...he rocks my world.

It was one of the biggest moments in my life.

I really love Pearl jam, and Eddie actually threw me one of the tambourines. I've got it hanging on the wall back home in Norway!
