I love Kurosawa. I bought the new 25 film boxset they released for his 100th birthday. So, now I own 27 of his 30 films. I've gotten around to watching 22 of his films in total, and I have yet to be disappointed by his work. Even his early stuff, while not as polished as his later work, really showed off his budding talent.
I think I'm responsible for like 500 views of this. Love your video, it has captured so many of the most subtly beautiful moments of all the movies used. Great choices.
@ebcooper44. This is a beautifully edited tribute to Kurosawa, well done! I wrote my 3rd year Arts Degree essay on the Samurai films of Kurosawa, he is one of the best film producers ever but sadly not well known. I need to watch more of his non Samurai films!
Wowowowow I love this cinema..and you've made a grest job once again: music and scenes are so appropriate :-) sorry for my bad english, and thanks again!
A+ Astounding! Wonderful! Epic! A marvelous tribute to a cinematic genius. The best darned video I've seen on YouTube in months!!!!! I'm sending it to all my friends!! Just great!

Finally saw Ran through my Netflix. It, like all of Kurosawa's films was awesome. I really love what he does with Shakespeare's plays and plot lines.
