Using the diamond halves the attack damage, for those who don't know. My friend and I who used to play this would taunt each other by putting the diamond on the bottom and wasting it. Great fun.

it's a tech bonus and often better to use a power gem to explode your pieces tahn the diamond - it's good that you dont use the diamond usually!
