  • blind idiots.that piece of shit is going to come apart on it's own long before any politics can do it in.or just outright sabotage by one of our space homeys.it's used up and outdated, engineered with obselete technology.maybe if all the greedy space industry corporations had kicked in some beer money instead of mooching off the taxpayers via ski mask clad congressmen we wouldn't be here now would we.ha ha.starve like the rest of us,or else let GW room and board you for awhile,he's rich i hear.

  • years before: IT TIME FOR A CHANGE!

now:FUCK! i made a vary VARY bad choise

  • The quicker the ISS goes "ka Splash!" The quicker we can get on to going to Mars and beyond. Its an orbiting white elephant! Cut the losses and move on.

  • @TheFluffyDuck there where ideas to use the ISS to get to mars

  • @mattstorm360 Yeah not really, there have been plenty of plans to get to mars. but the one to use the spacestation was stupidly expensive . They were going to use it as a "dry dock" and build a planetary space ship in space.

  • That idiot is killing everything that makes the USA great.

  • lol

  • Oh, not to mention that because of Obama's new plan, we are actually going to have US Astronauts flying to ISS on US built rockets several years SOONER than under Constellation.

  • The ISS might have to come down because the playboy CEO's needed emergency funds to pay off their yachts!

  • Nasa will implode after the shuttle ends. There will be NO astronaut corp as there will be very few flights up for rent from the russians. Count on about 6 seats a year as opposed to 7 seats on 4 shuttle flights a year on average at least, if not more (i.e. 28). Kennedy Space Centre will implode. There will be no purpose for the Vehicle Assembly building, the 39A/B launch pads, all the ancillary buildings. And all those 10000 odd jobs. Well dark obama you tool.

  • why would they de orbit a 100 billion dollar station that is in perfect working condition? couldn't they just leave it alone..

  • KFC(kentucky fried chicken)

  • you all realize that obama expects us to have a fleet of spacecraft privately bulit, and that we'd only have to fly with the russians until 2015, right?

  • I'm with the guy at 0:47 !

  • WHAT?!?!

so who do you think will assasanation obama?

  • when the ISS comes down that will fufill the HOPI prophecy and the third shaking will begin. there are nine signs and the last sign states that the dwelling above earth will fall from the sky.

  • Wow, this video is so out of context that I don't even know where to start. It was Bush's administration who proposed deorbiting ISS in 2015. Even ignoring the events that have happened since this video was uploaded, (Obama extending the shuttle slightly, extending ISS until 2020, with talks of up to 2028, promoting commercial launch so we won't have to depend on Russia etc) you'd still be wrong.

I strongly disagree with many of Obama's policies, but NASA is not one of them.

  • @TheGreatSparky You're complete misinformed.

  • @MidNightRider2001 Then please explain how I am "complete" misinformed.

The Constellation program, as nice and shiny as it looked, was the REAL plan to kill NASA. Bush mandated an end to shuttle flights by 2010, end of ISS by 2015, and to start on constellation without giving it anywhere near sufficient funding.

  • @TheGreatSparky Send me some articles not Wikipedia. The US was to remain in the ISS until 2017 under W. The Shuttle was to be replaced under W. NASA was supposed to go to the Moon and Mars under W. Now, Under Barack Hussein Obama, the US won't even get into orbit. Send me proof of anything you're saying. Proof.

  • @MidNightRider2001 Not getting this from Wikipedia, but from industry forums. Constellation was not going to make it Mars, or even the moon for that matter. Griffin was famous for calling it "Apollo on steroids", but it was run like Apollo on foodstamps. The Augustine commission confirmed that.

And I think that SpaceX, SpaceDev, Boeing, Lockheed, etc... are going to be more than capable of getting Americans to orbit. Those last two have been putting heavy stuff into orbit for NASA for decades.

  • Yes, it was eventually extended to 2017 at some point under Bush, but only because of pressure from the international partners.

So what sort of proof would you like? The Augustine Commission findings, the specifications for the half dozen other vehicles being designed right now for bringing crew to ISS? The COTS contracts? What?

By the way, you're the one who implied that Obama wanted to end ISS sooner rather than later than Bush would have. Burden of proof is on you.

  • @TheGreatSparky Actually on Jan 14 2004 president Bush proposed a plan to send us to the moon by 2015 and no later than 2020 to go back to the moon and build a long term base in order to go forward on to Mars. Obama has killed that idea which was called the Concellation project.

  • @206streetfilms ACTUALLY, Constellation, (which was NOT going to send us to Mars) was practically to fail from the start. Bush essentially told NASA to attempt the most ambitious manned program in history without appropriating the budget it needed. The Ares 1 rocket, in it's latest version when it was canceled, couldn't even lift a fully fueled Orion capsule to orbit.

When NASA astronauts do go to the moon again, it will be on commercial vehicles that are being developed now with CCDev funding.

  • The decision to deorbit the station in 2015 was made under Bush. It was not a decision made by Bush but by the megalomaniac Michael Griffin, former NASA administrator. It was a policy that going to be changed and is not any President's 'fault'.

  • @rjholling I certainly hope so! If Obama does ONE thing right, he should SELL the damn thing and get us a return on our tax dollars, for what it's worth

  • @QuartuvLarry what are you talking about? What else would you have him waste that money on? Subsidies for private insurance companies? Tax cuts for people who don't need them? Wars? NASA operates at $20 billion a year. Compare that to DoD which lives fat and happy on $700 billion. NASA is one of the few government entities that is actually worthwhile. Advances in computers and materials science as a direct result of the space program have been paid back thousand fold.

  • @rjholling Oh yes! Tax cuts are definitely needed! Spending cuts, also. Privatization of space is inevitable!

  • @QuartuvLarry You don't know what you are talking about, you are just talking out of your ass and parroting the party line regardless if it makes sense. There is no market for space, it is either funded by the government or it isn't funded at all, which would be foolish because technology developed as a result of it are the reason you are able to use the internet and not a type writer right now.

  • @rjholling Party lines? I just speak common sense. How do you buy stuff when you're broke? And what's the return? Cool gadgets manufactured from the TERTIARY sector of the economy? You can't run an economy like that! And that's precisely what it's going to come down to: economics.

  • @QuartuvLarry Its not about 'cool gadgets' and that 'tertiary' sector which I happen to work for, has given us the microprocessor, gps satellite network, and f-22 raptor to name a few, there are thousands more examples. You don't sacrifice long term prosperity for short term gains by cutting taxes and spending. A better way for everyone to prosper would be to raise taxes, balance the budget and fund science and engineering research.

  • @rjholling "You don't sacrifice long term prosperity for short term gains by cutting taxes and spending."

Exactly. You DO sacrifice it by RAISING taxes and spending.

You had a moment of lucidity there. And yes, satellites and F-22s, for all their complexity and easing of existence are STILL just gadgets. The tertiary sector can't last without the primary and the secondary. Farming, mining, drilling. All wealth comes first and foremost from the earth.

  • @QuartuvLarry I disagree. A great deal of wealth, indeed just about all of it, is derived from the human mind. I think the human race's ability to create and innovate is what allows us to exist at a level greater than subsistence. It is because someone invented the internal combustion engine that it is profitable to pump otherwise nasty black goo out of the ground at all.

  • @rjholling Nice speech. But you don't stimulate genius by writing a blank check and saying, "Please think for me!" Why does this dogma about throwing money at the problem to SOLVE the problem still exist amongst apologists of intelligentsia? Do we forget where Einstein was when he came up with his BEST theories? Did Galileo or Copernicus vindicate their legacy through Catholic funding? India's poor, yet their more technologically savvy than we are.

"Necessity is the mother of invention" -Plato

  • @QuartuvLarry Ech...grammar. I meant to say "they're" instead of "their"

  • @QuartuvLarry I don't suppose youtube or wikipedia were what the pentagon had in mind when they created the first computer networks. That is just one example, another being the space program, of a US government project that has spawned trillions of dollars and has benefited the entire human race. I am not going to doubt what you said about Obama but to say we that tax cuts are a better way to stimulate the economy than researching the next 'internet', that I disagree with.

  • @rjholling To wit, the tertiary sector is worthless without the others. Some good an F-22 will be without oil drilling to produce its fuel and it's plastics. Some good it will be when nobody is able to produce it's raw materials for construction.

You should read the treatise "I, Pencil" to get a good idea of how much MORE important every OTHER part of the economy is than the tertiary sector. Because without that appreciation, be ready to welcome the new Dark Age.

  • @QuartuvLarry Full privitization of space may one day come, but not for a long time. Not to say it can't one day be done but much like commercial aviation although on a much greater scale it will take years of government funded technological investment before that day comes. We should raise taxes and fund space. Its no coincidence during Apollo we produced more science and engineering PhDs than at any other time in history.

  • I am a American and even i can see the foolishness of this, Space is the future for all peoples and is the assurance that we'll need to survival as a species. There will all ways be economic problems with or with out nasa.

  • Whats wrong with leaving it in orbit? or just letting other space agencys maintain it.

We cant just destroy one of humans greatest achevements because of lack of funds.

    Obama's a JackAss, end of.

  • What a waste of money. Fricken America government.

  • I can't believe why american's don't be proud of herself . I would be so proud of my country if they spend a lot of money in it. I would do the same. Maybe it's the most worst thing we can do but this world no longer exists in the future. It's a great thing to see if "we" humans can life on an other planet. I mean I don't live in the USA so I can't imagine it how americans think about it I dont know if ya'll have to spend money in it. I just can say what's my opinion.

    :-( !

  • Privatize Nasa please. No more of these economy-broken nations trying to keep it alive. We need to come through as a planet and as one race, the human race, and push ourselves above and beyond. Take a step into the future.

  • Good. F the space program. What, we all gonna live on the f'n moon next year or something? There are millions of hungry and homeless Americans, TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN FIRST THEN SHOW OFF OUR ROCKETS. Politicians are so fuckin stupid. I don't give a shit if NORTH KOREA gets to Mars before the US. WTF is there besides a place to stick a flag? Holy shit. Wake up people. No wonder so many Americans max out their credit cars and then go bankrupt - the fuckin government is doing it too... Dumbasses.

  • GERARD K. O'NEILL!!

  • Dear All,

I have some question about psychology:

    (1) Why do we want to travel to space?

    (2) What motivate us to design and to build the International Space Station (ISS)?

    (3) Why do want to live in space?

    (4) What are the social values represented by International Space Satation (ISS)?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • @applesweeter why are you so retarded

  • @ZackAttack261

    Be Respectful!! :(

You have to respect my freedom of speech and my right to ask other for opinion.

  • @applesweeter its just that i am so pissed at Obamai am not mad at you I am mad at the president

  • how the fuck is congress going with this or the military fuck politics seriously.

  • WTF seriously we spent how much on that fucking piece of shit and now there just throwing it away fuck that shit

  • @SpartanV295 i mean at least give it to a private company like vergin for the time being.

  • okay, ive got to admit when i first starting hearing about all this i was extremely pissed too. until i started reading up on his full plans. he is the next kennedy. im very excited and very relieved. Obama is sick of 60's technology being used when we're capable of so much more, and he wants americans to cut the pride and start working internationally so we get some real work done.

  • Thank you Barrack Obama for canceling Constellation program! Asshole looking for money everywhere where he shouldn't. Leave NASA alone, let people touch sky and stars, not everyone like to stay on Earth and fighting in USA wars for oil. If you looking for money Obama you should bring back to home your troops. Obama is not better than Bush, he do same shit. Unfortunately he's not next Kennedy, what I thinking before but copy of Bush, what a shame for Americans.

  • Oh God, no the International Space Station was the only really practical & working Space program around & now Curious George III wants to abandon Space Exploration. I understand that Nasa wasted for a long time money, support and patience from the general public. But still, the quest for Space Exploration is never perfect, or avoidable for Earth. Cristopher Columbus turned out to be a better Explorer Captain than Governor of the New World, but it takes nothing away from the discovery he did.

  • So now i know where all the money are going ?

  • Obama is a bitch!

  • It is called International space station, not Nasa space station. So Nasa can only propose all that craps.

Oh NASA, you are my God.....

  • people on welfare...unwed teenage mothers...criminals on deathrow for decades ...affirmative action racist quota promotions...socialist health care...all huge waste of money! barbarian stupid minorities drag science and america down!

  • That's what I say. Now we have an affirmative action president, and it's no wonder he'd rather give 4 billion to worthless ACORN bastards but not even keep NASA funded well enough to maintain our manned space program. MAY HE ROT IN HELL! This and the F22 makes my blood boil.

  • A waste of tax dollars? From a person with YOUR name? The irony is killing me. Go suck on a big, fat cock, you worthless piece of shit. Understanding the universe is not a waste of tax dollars.

  • Obama is the worst president ever. An absolute nightmare for this country.

  • @monkeyattackedmyass how can you honestly say that after president george w. snafu?

  • Obama plans to shut down NASA. He'll blame Bush and let China pass us by. Obama really sucks, and he's going to drop down even more in the polls.

  • @TwilightZoneClone

Where do you get your facts? Obama's plan in the senate actually calls to raise their budget amid wide government spending cuts.

  • @pacificguitarist In Obama's plan NASA is going over to China. That came out yesterday.

Under Obama, NASA will be closed. There will be no manned space flight after the Shuttle retires. Obama is the enemy of America.

  • @TwilightZoneClone If I was in charge I'd cut all of NASA's funding and toss their asses in the dumpster. All they do is feed us a load of bullshit for our money.. They can't even show us pictures without covering shit up. Compare pictures of the Moon that people got years ago to the same one's they're handing out today. They went back and corrected the shitty cover-up job they did years ago. Why the hell should we continue to fund a lie? Even our own Astronauts say NASA's full of shit.

  • If the U.S. would quit funding foreign abortions maybe we'd have a little more money...........Obama is a jerk..

  • Yes, and if ppl would start eating, instead of worshipping cattle, the world would be a much better place.

"Foreign abortions" are just the beginning. When he said share the wealth, he means w/ the whole world.

The NWO and Obama can kiss my lilly white arse!

  • I'll stand beside you, my friend, and they can kiss my lilly whit arse, too...!! lol

  • I know that's right!

  • Well, that's Malcom O for you...YES WE CAN!!!!
