my squirrels never die when i shoot em, no matter where you hit em, they just flop and run around. ive even had one chew through my carbon arrow, it pissed me off. and if they dont die, and you go to get the arrow, they can get PISSY!!!

My experiences on hunting squirrels with a bow. Every single one of them will flop all over the place unless you spine them behind the head or through the neck. Even then some still flop with that shot. Use broad heads or judo points. Don't use field points if you want to practice good hunting ethics.

nice shot. i hunted squirrels once using judo heads. the hooks caught the back of ones head at 12 yards and completly took the back of his skull and everything in it. i was using a bow way too heavy for small game (80 lbs) but i guess you learn from your mistakes. again nice shot.
