  • better than sm's version

  • The intro kind of sounds like SM's "If And When We Rise Again"

  • I gotta convince the orchestra teacher at my school let us play this.

  • :45 sounds like that song that goes.... istanbul or constantinople

  • Jesus, I just checked this video like months later and I accidentally spammed the comments section, just removed my duplicate comments.

  • Think my ears just came

  • @Farse1990 Eargasm :D

  • Comment removed

  • For some reason youtube's not showing me my comments that I'm posting, so hopefully I'm not spamming this page trying to comment for like the 8th time, but on the tracklisting of the CD, if you bought it, that was what it was listed as.

  • I like this Version better than Streetlight Manifesto`s version.

    :D

  • Bandit's version of the song is slower, and much less heavy, but at the same time has just that much more energy to it than Streetlight's version. I definitely prefer this version, it's much more loose and dark.

That being said, Streetlight's probably my favorite of the two bands. But when BOTAR does something like this, they do it perfectly. Here's to hoping for a Bandit 99 SOR Volume 2. :D

  • So i favorited this song about a year ago and and only listend to the first 30 secs. this is the first time i actually listend to the full song!!! Jesus i missed out!!!!

  • This song is a fuckin beast.

  • So to those who said it would be awesome for streetlight to redo this song - 99 songs of revolution, track 8. Need i say more?

  • I still like this version better, I think. But I love their new album.

  • just learned this song on tenor sax

  • Learned it how

  • entirely by ear

  • WTH all of the botar here's to life have been removed because of copyright infringment

  • this EP is beautiful i listen to it everyday :)

  • also it sounds like sumthin that would have gone into every thing goes numb

  • not crappy instruments, just different. its not as powerful because they put in clarinets and strings. but thats sorta the point of this band

  • Dont stop because you might get burned and you might just learn to stand on your own two feet

  • the most epic song i know.

  • "Don't die for anything less than the best of, everyone settles for the rest not the best of, I will die for no less than the best of life."

That Tomas guy is a FUCKING GENIUS!!!

  • Any one have any idea what the Sax part for this is? (Alto or tenor would be fine!)

    Thanks

  • theres a tenor, alto and baritone sax

  • theres a clarinet in there too

  • look on hortabs

they have tabs for saxes, even for songs like this that are pretty unknown, but ever so awesome

  • best BOTAR song, i fucking love it.

  • I concur.

  • i wish my songs sounded like this :(

  • 2:0-end my favorite part

  • Not that anyone probably cares but, the full title of this song is "They Provide The Paint For The Picture Perfect Masterpiece That You Will Paint On The Insides Of Your Eyelids"

  • That would take too long to write.

  • @Robocrat however he's right..

  • @Robocrat God forbid you are accurate for artists who deserve it

  • I care. As a Tomas Kalnoky Fanatic I care about everything Kalnoky Related.

  • theres a site ALL about Tomas Kalnoky, your welcome to join... it has video, Pics, Forums, and lots more.

but youtube wont let me type it so click on my channel "alwaysblinkin182" and the address will be in my comments. you wont miss it thank you

  • O RLY? Everything?

  • Even what kind of condoms he uses.

  • he obvioulsy uses durex

  • Haha, that's great.

  • @tseng61 actually, that's what streetlight called it... BOTAR named it "They Provide The Paint For The Picture Perfect Masterpiece That You Will Paint On The Inside Of You

  • @tseng61 i care...ALLOT!

  • @tseng61 holy thats amazing

  • @tseng61 Actually it's just They Provide the Paint for the Picture-Perfect Masterpiece

  • Comment removed

  • @thunderectum My mistake, the Streetlight Manifesto version was the shorter named one.

  • @thunderectum Actually, the Streetlight version also has the full title.

  • @tseng61 Im glad you made a point to let people know this.

  • 1:41 awesome lyrics same with the rest of the song

  • i think its cause of youtube, and the fact that the file might be a rip. not straight from the disk.

  • yeah its really hard to hear him sing you really have to listen hear the lyrics correctly

  • imo it's loud enough.....they're slightly incoherent lyrics because it's so damn fast but the vocals are loud enough. The thing to keep in mind is this was originally self-produced which means they probably did not have access to an entirely awesome studio. In a sense it was amateur =P

  • So if 99 songs of revolution is about 8 discs, how much is that going to cost?

  • idk hopefully not a lot cause i'm planing on buying all of them

  • i heard 99 songs of the revolution is being released in like 4 parts not at all at once idk if thats true or not might just be an internet rumor

  • probably the best intro in the history of intros

  • hey robocrat, can u upload the other botar songs? i like botars heres to life better than streetlights, although streetlights still kicks ass, lol.

  • I have A Call to Arms and it says that It's incomplete. I'm pretty sure the date on it is 2002

  • streetlight should do a remake of this song. its really really good.

  • They do on their tour.

  • your soooo right

  • The first 30 seconds of this song are glorious.

  • website says so, i wish this song had electric bass to make my amps quiver and the subs implode

  • Did I hear Tom say that there was a new BOTAR album coming out sometime in the near future? >_>?

  • I hope. It's been seven years or something like that.

  • @Robocrat i think 99 songs of revolution vol. 2 is gna be BOTAR

  • Yes. He did. :)

  • is that like as well as the one thats part of 99 songs of revolution?

  • It's suppose to be 2 albums by Streetlight, 2 by BOTAR, but like I'm reading this on Wiki and apparently these are done by an unknown artist from the band...? Do they mean not Kalnoky? Cuz it probably won't be as amazing as this music than.

  • It's 2 by BOTAR, 2 by Streetlight, and 4 by two other unknown bands. Tomas will do the ones for Streetlight and BOTAR. I mean, I don't know why he wouldn't.

  • @Robocrat I actually heard a rumor that it was originally catch 22 right before Kalnoky left... just a rumor

  • @goodtimesontoob What that one of the other two bands are catch 22? That would be so awesome.

  • @Carpenella If you think about it, there was a point in time where Streetlight Manifesto was more Catch 22 than Catch 22 itself. Think about it, Josh Ansley, Tomas Kalnoky, Mike Soprano, and Jamie Egan were all former Catch 22 members.
