Although I don't hate the mentally retarded or anyone disabled. I wouldn't be a great parent to one because I simply wouldn't be patient enough to raise one. Every night I'd go to bed knowing my child may never do everything I could or may never realize what love is. I think retarded people are great but the fact is I couldn't raise one. @123sailormew Don't worry. I teach Special Ed for 18-22 -year- olds and it gets easier once you leave school and get into the world of work. People are more understandig in the workplace than in the classroom. The main thing is showing a positive attitude, being clean, being polite, and being dependable. It is ok to make mistakes - no one is perfect. And be your own advocate, which means that you should be able 2 tell your boss what kind of support you will need in order to succeed on the job.
