steelix for pikachu

tyranitar for espeon

crobat for snorlax

kingdra for charizard

tyhplosion for venusaur

jolteon for blastoise

they were underleveled and i was surprised at first when i beat red...if you have the right pokemon to counter his, then you can beat him quite handly..you could even beat his snorlax with a gastly lol

its fine that you use hacks. i use hacks on some of my pokemon. What i do is i get the pkmn i want to train early in the game. i get them at lv 5 and train them so i get the pkmn i want to use. it makes the game less boring and it helps stock my pkmn collection. what im thinking of doing is starting soul silver over and use a hack so i can play as gary (blue/green) i'll eventually have a blastoise, and umbreon, a scizor, a magmortor, a ryperior, and a machamp.

Then again, because you're still a rookie at Pokemon and all you aim for is power and attacking rather than technique, I wouldn't be surprised since you asked such a question.

it's better to train than to use rare candies. Effort values, look it up. If you fight a certain pokemon over and over again your stats will rise by the 60's at a time. Amazing pro stragety.

Aerodactyl is a little trickier...he requires patience. go to route 15 and into the patch of grass with the lady in green (Kanto, East of Fuschia, not the first route you come across, the second one...) cut the tree and talk to the woman. She'll say she wants a chancey but can't find one. In that patch of grass, find a Chancey (sorry...it took me like 20 mins :/) and then trade her a chancey for aerodactyl. thenCatch a ditto, train it the same level. and Mate the ditto and Aeroy...train it up xD

NO! Red and Blue are the localized names of the two main characters of Pokemon Red and Blue versions. They are obviously named after the two games,and in Japan blue is named green because Pokemon green came first while blue was the third version. Blue's team is based off of his Red Blue and Green team with one of the starters removed. Red's team IS based off of Pokemon Yellow, and the reason the Espeon is there is probably because they wanted Mewtwo there originally but deemed it overpowered.

Need to KO Pikachu with it's type weakness, a ground attack like Earthquake, not a rock move like AncientPower. Give Aerodactyl Earthquake.

The legendary beasts are better than the birds (srsly the birds are all weak to rock and electric) and Raikou is a good pokemon due to it's type. Personally, I avoid using legendaries because it's mostly for people who can't be bothered to EV train. But you said you've already completed it, and that you were using it because you had it, that's fair.
