Is the diablos lance a good choice?

@caske1996 The Diablos Spear would be devastating with Attack Up (L) since it is the most powerful lance in the game. I believe you can get about 588 damage with it if you use Powercharms and Powertalons. The only downside is that it has -30% affinity, which I don't really mind much. It is an all-purpose lance since it does not have an element. Get the "Awaken" skill to add 250 Water element to the lance. Anyway, its worth getting 2 stout horns for it. I would recommend it.

hey, how long did it take you to organize your storage box?

@NinjaMan168 He auto-sorts. Look in the bottom right corner of the storage screen for the button to press. I use '1' on freestyle. you then get a bunch of options for how to auto-sort everything. Play around with it, it shows you how the first page will look before committing to the change.

Actually just a bit ago I had about 100 thunderbugs. This is a bit off topic as if you're trying to get he Thunderclap you're not nearly able to do this but... During Jhen+ event days you can buy thunderbugs. I have a massive supply of shock traps now because of it.

hey shepard, im trying to make the thunder clap so i can take the rathalos and get its long sword so i can take the barrioth so i can get that lance... but im having trouble getting the thunderbugs.... it seems to me that you dont have any problems getting any items...so i was just wondering if you could tell me an easy way to get them...thanks

@killordie33 thunder bugs can be gotten from the blue bug points most places in the game. if u want the rath ls u only need to kill los about 1 so i wouldnt spend too much time trying to get thunderclap

@killordie33 All you have to do is go to any place that has a butterfly and then just gather from that.  There is no real way to get alot of thunderbugs.

I don't see why people think stout horns are so hard... It only takes a few Princess's Pride runs to get some. They're like a 25% chance with it or something. Not to mention the Wyvern stone or two you get pretty much every run...

They only way I got a stout horn was from capturing 2 high rank Diablos and breaking their horns... I got 6 wyvern stones before I got the stout horn

@Lordwakka The Majestic horn can be gained by breaking both his horns and ending through sub quest. It takes a lot less time and still has the same amount of chance to drop it .

@Skullhax1234 I'm pretty sure it's just from using the farm properly. You can get tons of money that way, and as far as the fish go... You keep the ones you need like scatterfish and turn the rest into resource points. I'm leveling up a second character right now, and already have close to a million z, 27,000+ resource points and about 600 or so scatterfish by the time I got the character to the first rathian quests.

SocialDissonance I have a tip for you. When your battling Uragaan and he sleeps you. Quickly run under him that way when he rolls he won't get you. After the roll you'll be back on your feet safely. Make sure your near the tail when your under him.Thumbs up if this tip helped you!

Also, a way to know if the monster has left the area, is by looking at your name, then the weapon icon beside it, you will see like a heart split in half when you fight a monster like at 7:44, your weapon icon was not flashing a split in half heart.

The armor set I would go with against diablos in High Rank is full Rathalos+ armor, a +5 guard talisman, gemmed in with +10 guard in the armor, then critical eye jewels on your Sabetooth G, you would get 85% affinity (55% on sabertooth g and 30% from the critical eye)

This is the armor set I use whenever I use a lance.

Im having trouble putting together my barroth armor set because i cant get fertile mud... and ive killed it soooooo many times.. and captured and havent gotten any.. is there like a secret on getting fertile mud? cause i seriously cant get any.

@killordie33 Use a water weapon like the spiral lance to break off the mud from the barroth's body. Then collect any sparkles you see. You could get alot of fertile mud from that. Barroth armor is a great set to get when you are still in that part of the game, but your going to have to change it out soon after when you start fighting things like lagiacrus and gigginox.

Did you ever have a problem with your Wii freezing up on you during online play? My screen seems to freeze once every hour or so. (You don't even want to know how much HR I have lost from it.)

@hiddenunknownvpower Nope, never had that problem. Tri is a really intensive game for the Wii though, it doesn't surprise me that it struggles sometimes.

@xam154 It's around 1,200,000. Keep running your farm constantly and it'll just go up. I use stormsender seeds with dung, all rows at 10, then sleep at night. It makes time go by a lot faster.

Not only was this a great run, but you can also call this your tutorial for Majestic Horn farming. Both horns were broken 2:02 after you appeared in the desert. Maybe add a Farcaster, skip the Rations, and you'd finish super fast.
