Yes, Hitler was the man responsible for the Beetle's creation. Hitler's Germany also created the Tiger Tank, the STG-44, the first jet and rocket powered aircraft, the Autobahn, and in his own way helped keep communism from spreading any further than it did. Volkwagen was from *West* Germany. Plus, Hitler hated communism, and it was post-WWII Germans and Allies who kept the Beetle alive, even if Hitler had a role in its coming into the world in the first place. You're an idiot.

Hilter was a mad man with lots of intelligent german around him. Hitler did not invent anything but NAZI ( the SS),The germen people are greater than a mad man. He took over VW so he can benefit from sales of VW to support his communist war (WWII). He lose the war because the west cut off the money supply and his army fail to gain oil (black gold) = the leadership of the U.S. took over GM (General motor) and now you have Goverment Motor.NAZI means National Socialism. Hitler's National Socialist Germany and Mao's People's Republic of China are two different governments and two different nations. Communism and fascism have a long history of really, *really* not liking each other. Hitler has been called many things many times, but 'communist' is not one I hear often in reference to him. Because he wasn't one.

He was NOT A COMMUNIST, you dumb ****! I have no idea what you're talking about and your comments are poorly written, but I stand by what I said before. He was a bad person overall and did far more harm than good, but in some way or another he is responsible for the existence of some very great things. He also dragged Germany up out of the gutter it had been kicked into by WWI's victorious Allies...and then left the Fatherland in an even deeper one in 1945.

I hate Nazis and communists with equal passion, so I don't know why I'm suddenly some huge fan of the not-actually-communist-President Obama.
