@samhain1967 The style of singing is not related to its quality, true. However, your logical error is disregarding that classically TRAINED vocalists tend to know better how to use their voices. That holds true for singers of other styles that have received any form of decent coaching for a long time though...which is not the cases for plenty of rock singers, as you could hear easily if you were trying to be a bit more objective. It amazes me how foolish people are to think that because you can sing opera that makes you a better vocalist than rock singers. This is not true. Both styles take years of training... Most opera singers sound like dump trying to sing rock... however there are many examples of rock vocalist/singers doing opera or as close to it as possible. There was a reason Marco sang the songs by WASP and so on... that reason is because Tarja couldn't, and she certainly couldn't sing a Doro song.
Doro seems a bit unsure about herself. Or I get that feeling whan watching. Love The song anyway. Doro adds so much to this song. When you hear The version with only Tarja it's already a good song but with Doro, you just fall of your chair!
Too bad Doro's mic isn't properly regulated in the beginning :S

I respect Doro and what she's done for female voices in metal but her vocal abilities pale in comparison. Then again, entirely different voice types... you probably can't compare true metal and a classically-trained vocalist.
