Have Barry put on a fake mustache/wig.Replace/Chris for Carlos since it's getting difficult to work with. One more thing that I wanted to know is if you were playing the Wesker role? well you could make up siblings or relations to the main characters or if you want a random name i could give a few to you(like survivors) hope it helped at least a bit
you should replace Chris with Leon, i know he doesn't appear in resident evil 3 but it would be pretty kool if he could make an intro in the middle of danger say, a nemesis attack
well try to recast chris as someone else and for the bread thing with barry have in a scene where theres fire or something simliar to that and it can be that barry bread was burnt off so it runs with the story also for some charaters if your gonna swap or change out people you try rebcaca cambers or some of the stars members from the noval which anyone can do since no one knows what they really look like
You don't necessarily have to rewrite your script. You can recast Chris, he doesn't have to look exactly like he did in the games. And you could give the Barry actor fake facial hair, and just don't focus too closely on his face too much. There's easy ways around some of the problems you have, you just have to find those solutions. Don't give up.

I think that adding Nicolai is a good idea and some other stuff. But basically I think that you may have to start over. Try to make a more concise schedule so that nothing can go wrong and just role with it.
I also know how much money these kinds of things are. Themovi that I'm currently filming has cost me over 800 dollars and themove 'm filming in 2010 might cost me as much as $3000!
But I was thinking. I already made one decent movie, my 70 minute long Resident Evil: Biohazard, which I thought to be my best work. My RE3 left a lt to be desired because werushed filming it (only took 10 days) and it was made rather cheaply. So what I need to know is where do you live? I might be able to help you.

Replace the chris actor or get the original back.
Like someone mentioned, use facial hair or something on the Barry actor orrrrrr...come up with a reason for Barry to shave.
This is too good to put to waste. DON'T GIVE UP. Continue this project no matter how long it takes.
