I literally just walked in the door from seeing this show in Chicago. Do yourself a favor and go see the tour if you can. Syesha and Moya are freakin' wonderful. The entire cast sings beautifully.

I saw the show last night in Boston with this leading cast, of Moya Angela and Syesha Mercado. Count me in as a new Moya Angela fan. Wow; her rendition of ''I Am Not Going" was literally breathtaking for me, sitting way back in the mezzanine. I got a huge lump in my throat. The whole audience was electified, I bet. She can belt it with a superlative level of feeling.

Moya's voice live when I saw this was INSANE. Such power... whenever she sang with anybody else, you could only hear her. She really rocked the show... the audience at our showing applauded for everyone and also cheered but we only stood for Moya. Everyone was great though... Moya was just amazing!

i'm not a fan of this new version... it's actually not at all the same song anymore. i didn't hear one lyric that was the same beside "listen". It seems jumbled as well, like they lyrics don't fit in the allotted spaces. Not saying anything about the performers, they're great. Just not a fan of the new version.

@electrocutedcat Well, I am a David Archuleta fan and since he and Cook are great friends I try to support Cook too. The competition is over. David Archuleta cares about & supports both Cook and Syesha. He went to see the Dreamgirls with Brooke White and they both loved the show.
