I agree that most deathcore bands suck, but if done properly, deathcore is fucking awesome. Some of the bands are really good, but it's a shame that the fanbase has an average I.Q. of 70.

For generic (but good) bands, check out Suicide Silence or Carnifex.

For awesome shit, check out I Shot the Sheriff, All Shall Perish, Arsonists Get All the Girls, Salt the Wound, etc.

Thank you for proving my point. Cannibal Corpse didn't release their first album until 1990. I give you partial credit since they formed in 1988 but even still they didn't have a mass following until around 1992 when Tomb of the Mutilated came out. Even if they were a staple in the 80s great music is timeless. As for the comment on them being gay, all I have to say is you listen to Avenged Sevenfold and play in a shitty teenybopper metalcore band. Consider the source.
