There's very little worry who have pure hearts & seek Allah. @dawah2 Yes! I have a Quran that is translated into english by an Ahmadi. I wish all Muslims were ahmadi. I know ahmadi are persecuted in Pakistan, I met an imam in Sacramento (I live by there) that thinks ahmadi should be persecuted and he rejected my Quran saying it was a false translation. The Quran has a good message if enforced by Dawah but not violence. That makes people reject it.

I think there appears to be a misunderstanding. My understanding of the talk is that proselytising, in itself, is not a crime deserving death penalty. A convert can live peacefully if it does not start propagating the new religion. Death penalty is for Treason and not for Conversion. I remember reading such an edict by one at alAzhar.

Brother, I have a question about Jesus crucification in The Quran.[ Sura 4:157].If you look at the back ground of this sura,prophet is responding to Monophystie's theology that Jesus divine and human nature combined together means if Jesus crucified means God[ Logos] crucified.It is wrong.So this sura means they slew not the Logos, but his likeness, the body of Jesus[human nature] crucified.If that argument is correct, then I do not see any differences on crucification between us.

There's very little worry who have pure hearts & seek Allah. @dawah2 Yes! I have a Quran that is translated into english by an Ahmadi. I wish all Muslims were ahmadi. I know ahmadi are persecuted in Pakistan, I met an imam in Sacramento (I live by there) that thinks ahmadi should be persecuted and he rejected my Quran saying it was a false translation. The Quran has a good message if enforced by Dawah but not violence. That makes people reject it.
We can argue about theology but at least without death threats. I wish more Muslims were like You and ahmadi

I think there appears to be a misunderstanding. My understanding of the talk is that proselytising, in itself, is not a crime deserving death penalty. A convert can live peacefully if it does not start propagating the new religion. Death penalty is for Treason and not for Conversion. I remember reading such an edict by one at alAzhar.

This in a nut shell perfectly explains what distinguishes Islam from other religions. He feels it's fine to compare Islam to the military of other countries in terms of justifying the desire to murder people who defect from the religion in theocratic Islamic civilization.
People saying "This is just his version of Islam" have to be honest and admit that apparently all-throughout the Islam world the consequence for apostasy is death. Evidently not a minority view.

Dr. Zakir Naik is so intellectual and well-spoken in all his arguments. Regardless of how you interpret or misinterpret his words he is one of the few great debaters of our time. We need more people like him in this world.

If he is truly speaking "blasphemy" then the video should speak for itself. Provide a full video clip.EXACTLY he said death penalty for TREASON!!! Do Ahmadi muslims agree with the universal islamic declaration of human rights of the OIC or islamic counsel ? What has happened in your opinion to people who lived and died before the revelations ? There were also a lot of righteous people like christians, jews, buddhists, hindus and others did they enter paradise or did they go to hell?

1: It must b defensive
2: Must b fought only if other party use force 2 change ones religion
3: Must b 4 eliminating compulsion in religion - whether Islam or any other.
The verses granting PERMISSION of Religious war says that its purpose is not only to safeguard mosques but also Churches, cloisters and synagogues as well.

Brother, I have a question about Jesus crucification in The Quran.[ Sura 4:157].If you look at the back ground of this sura,prophet is responding to Monophystie's theology that Jesus divine and human nature combined together means if Jesus crucified means God[ Logos] crucified.It is wrong.So this sura means they slew not the Logos, but his likeness, the body of Jesus[human nature] crucified.If that argument is correct, then I do not see any differences on crucification between us.

@hourifromparadise : Some teachings r situation specific. During early days of Islam, too many cruelties were committed by non-believers. Thousands of believers were brutally KILLED. Thus a time came when Allah granted CONDITIONAL PERMISSION for self defense.

I am not a muslim but interested in Ahmadiyya . Are all soeras in the koran the eternal truth or is there time dependency and (or) historic perspective ? And what do you mean with "have been wronged" , is it not so that you can always find some fabricated reason to "have been wronged" , so there is eternal reason to wage war against unbelievers , simply for the fact that they don,t believe. Among these is teaching about Jihad of sword or holy war. Religious war is Permitted only under situation EXPLAINED in 22:39-40 which can b summarized as
1: It must be Defensive
2: It must not be as a reaction by non-believers due to any fault of believers i.e Believers r wronged
3: The war is vagued ONLY because of Faith & NO other reason
