I never knew Mark 1s were running in frontline WCML service that late! Moved to Stafford in 1994 when I was 8 so I just about remember this scene...Many thanks for a great set of videos; keep them coming!
Thanks for the comments. I do have some clips of Stafford. I'll be posting them when as soon as I have done the captures. I had no idea that these electric traction clips would prove so popular. I will keep them coming !!!
ANYTHING is better than the BORING multiple-unit-universe we now have.......soulless, uncomfortable, unreliable and part of a cunning plan to make spotting so boring that everyone will give it up so that station platforms can be kept nice and tidy!!! :-(

Probably the best sounding locos ever produced, along with the 87s. Miss them now theyre almost all gone.

Another superb vid there! Intercity has to be my favourite livery on an 86. I wish they still ruled the WCML today. Great to see the Mk1s in use.
