Honestly speaking, I have not used it for some time now. Not because its out of order but because the place I am living in now, can't be handled by a roomba. But when I used it other places or couple of times, this place, roomba did the job. I would rate it 4.5 - because I have to spend 15 mins or so on roomba every day I use it.

My apologies for late reply. It is quite OK in performance but then it depends on what you make it do! If it has to deal with a lot of dirt and that too every day, you may not be satisfied. Only problem for me is that this buddy takes 15, 20 mins of my time when ever I use it. But I would still say, its worth it!

Well, it seriously depends on what you want/expect from this robot. It will save you trouble of brooming for hours but then it demands almost 10 minutes every day itself, depending on how much dirt it collects, to clean and groom it for next cleaning cycle. If you are willing to do this for roomba, yes, its worth it.

My friend, I could have turned it on but first, I was an Unboxing video, not performance testing. Second, my floors are of kinda odd color and even if I would turn it on, no body could see the difference and this was one of the reasons I preferred an unoboxing rather than testing video!

other than the high capacity bin i don't see much difference between this and the 5XX series

I sent this roomba back to Amazon because after 3 days of use, there appeared an abnormal hole under the side brush. I got another one after few days and since then, its working fine... its an amazing machine and I want it to keep working.

I agree, the product works good, the color doesn't matter.
