If, they are "getting older," why did they feel the need in going backwards, retrograding into something that they were better to? Why not show the "getting older" and headed out towards something more "mature" instead of aiming it towards a way younger audience?

the one after sing the sorrow was december underground wich was....good to me i guess. i've always had the feel that the mainstream pretty much came to them. until the days of the pheonix video, i didnt see any other bands doing the goth/emo thing. and that was before my chemical romance, 30 sec. to mars, alkoline trio, aiden, and a beavy of other guyliner wearin rock bands hit the scene circa what...2004. i dont take the position of they sold out more so that. mainstrean--

Also, you would see member of The Misfits at AFI shows sometimes, especially when it was secret shows. Tell you this much, Misfits aren't really Emo friendly lol. Believe me, that if they WERE on the emo side, I would of dropped them from my list since 1999 (instead of 2006) lol.

Then I started listening to STS and started progressively listening to songs from Art of Drowning, Very Proud of Ya, and now I even like a song from Answer That and Stay Fashionable.
