Now, think of this, What if everyone that listens to Him or them (Molly Hatchet), followed suit and did the same? I Did! Will Me and Danny Joe See you in Heaven?
Eternity is a very long time to be stubborn and wrong!!!
Thank you so much for posting this video. Molly Hatchet was the first Southern Rock Band I listened too and DJB was that voice I loved! He sounded like nobody else and nobody has sounded like him either. I love these videos of this awesome band, thank you again!
Danny is trully one of a kind, its hard to listen to others although their good they cant take the place of danny, i had the pleasure of meeting danny and the band at a party in the old capricorn studio in Macon, Ga. Dave and all the guys were very influential in my following of the band all these years thank you for the memories... Randall K. Beall musician Macon Ga.
I have tears streaming down my face right now.. You can tell Jake is so happy to see his daddy up there one last time.. And DJB.. THANK YOU for letting people know Jesus is your Lord!
I saw Molly Hatchet life in Hamburg in the 90-ies, and it was one of the best concerts I ever saw. The band gave it all! Danny Joe Brown was one of the most musical live acts ever. I miss you so much!
Im a long time musician and my heart is big as hell... Not to much of a man to sey that this had me balling, Its PAINFUL SHAME to see any type of accident of illness take an effetct on them. *If you watch this emotion free than FUCK YA

I lost my Mom to the same disease that DJB had. Diabetes is a silent killer and a HORRIBLE illness. My heart goes out to anyone suffering from that horrible disease. R.I.P. DJB.
Just remember 1 thing you motherfuckers... Danny Joe Brown & Ronnie Van Zandt are from MY hometown... Jacksonville Florida... O yea and Rickey Medlocke to... Suck on that bitches... No really we are proud of our boys and roots in southern rock. The birthplace of the greatest music ever.
I was 19 years old, from Tampa, Florida, and stationed in Colorado in the Army. I drove my custom Jeep CJ5 from Colorado Springs to Boulder to see Molly Hatchet, and somehow saw their tour bus on the highway heading to Boulder. They pulled into an exit to get snacks or whatever, and I pulled in right behind them. When they walked out, I asked them to take a look at my Jeep, which I had professionally painted on the hood, GATOR COUNTRY. They LOVED it! Long live DJB!!
Just Watching and Listening to Danny brings back memories when I was Five years old (My Mother Vivian & Danny Were Good Friends)back stage on a crate Learning how to head bang!!! lol it's the truth. God Bless You Danny...Wish I could have seen you one more time...... Leigh Ambrose.

NOW THIS POWERFUL SET OF VOCALS IS WHAT SOUTHERN ROCK IS ALL ABOUT!! DJB WAS DOING WHAT HE LOVED TILL THE DAY HE LEFT THIS WORLD..EVEN AS SICK AS HE WAS,HE STILL ENJOYED BEING THERE!
i met d.j.b. backstage in south florida in a small club, he was very kind, and as was the original bass player i believe,, drank a lot on stage, and off,, i was suprised the way he handled himself,, what a nice , genuine human being..
I gotta go with chris! One of my idols,& to see him, sitting on the stool, pouring his heart out for the fans!God bless the hatchet family for being a family,Unlike my other fav, throwing lawsuits,& such!
I remember seeing them live a couple of times back in the very late 70's to early 80's.Love this band.1st time I've seen this clip and I ain't afraid to admit it brought a tear to my eye.Danny Joe was the heart & soul of Molly Hatchet. If heaven has a house band DJB is it's front man!R.I.P brother.

Wow, I have never really listened to much Molly Hatchet, but been checking the last few days at videos, and CDs and what not. This band is very kickass. This video here, is badass too. Awesome, and may Danny Joe Brown Rest In Peace
in northern Ontario Canada..We got in trouble once by the MNR they heard this from about 5 miles away, they could have warned us about playing this music so loud(MARSHAL AMPS) we got a $500.00 ticket for disterbing the wild life.
Danny joe brown what a class act I fortunately had the luck or good vibes to be allowed to stand up on the stage as if i was a member of the band. I was off to the side and playing air guitar as if i was a member of the band. The crowd embraced this rockin experience " damn" was he incredible. "Hell Yeah".
It was exactly 10 years ago that I was at this show. Great show, good people. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. If only we had it all to do over again. RIP DJB!
God bless him. he poured his heart and soul into this. He was so sick at the time. I'm a huge southern rock fan from many bands. But, this was always my favorite. R.I.P. Danny Joe Brown and Duane Rowland
DANNY JOE BROWN is a true rock and roll hero. Even in his weak, sickened physical state, he gave all he had and maintained his passion. Even though DJB is gone from this world none of these pantie-waist bands can even touch him. I love you DJB bro! Thanks for the awesome shows I saw you in back in the day!
When you have diabetes that is already in such severe stages that it's soon going to kill you, you usually go blind. If you ask me, it looks like he was blind already on this video. I was a fan of their music too. Great voice and talent.
@Jordingo I think you are right Comrade.I was probably 8 or 9 when this came out and anyone who grew up in the 70's in the USA knows how important FM radio and Rock were to teenagers...
Danny Joe Brown had a great Southern voice and MOLLY HATCHET was an original act.
Jesus Christ is my lord and savior. I had tears when I heard this man say that. I always kinda figured Danny had the ghost. God bless you Danny. You touched many young men and woman in a spiritual way if they took it right. :)
I have seen Molly Hatchet 52 X's. Never once did I have a bad time. Once Danny Joe Brown's son and my son (9 yrs.old) got to sit on stage together . I caught up after the concert - at the tour bus watching The Florida Gators with Danny Joe Brown and his Son! Still to his day (Ah...15 years later) my son remembers. He made out like a bandit! Signed Drum Sticks, Autographed Tee Shirts, Picks. He has them still by the way in a glass display case. Thanks for the great times M. H. Rock On Danny.
You are so blessed to have known such a Rock and Roll warrior. I miss DJB and Hatchet so much. Bands need to step back and study DJB, Dave and MH and see what it's all about!

RIP DJB

Wow!
You are so blessed to have known such a Rock and Roll warrior. I miss DJB and Hatchet so much. Bands need to step back and study DJB, Dave and MH and see what it's all about!
