  • They need to remake this franchise

  • Guard: Throw down your weapon!

    Silencer: Not likely! *wastes guard*

  • The key back then was to play using a Stick (joystick), it made the game more natural than having to constantly be looking for the right key...

  • This game is either the most interesting thing I've ever seen, or something really stupid.

All depends on the controls, because I can't imagine how they work here lol

  • I could be totally mistaken but I feel like I remember that room at 4:03 has another passage. Close to the lift, along the wall, and beside what I think is an alarm panel. Man it's been ages, but I think that box is destructible and you can go through the grate. Of course, I could be getting it mixed up with the grate at 6:05. Thanks for the vid! I loved the Crusader series

  • This game was fuckin awesome, RED BOBA FETT is the best!

  • I didn't remember this game o.0 oh the memories!

  • You better be the silencer that took out the lunar freight ship, or one of us is going to have a really bad day... *INTRUDER ON LEVEL 1 CODE 4* ..Name's Denning

  • Comment removed

  • I swear this looked better when I was like 12 lol

  • Man, I completely forgot about this game and the suspiciously close resemblance to a certain science fiction bounty hunter that we all know and love that the main character had.

  • @chibidw Let's face it, this guy was jango fett's daddy.

  • Hahaha, maybe they'll think twice before they make everything in their base out of explosive materials

  • My favorite Shooter of all time :))) loved it so much \m/

  • Denning's gun is a super-soaker, painted black with a doodad glued to the top. I used to have that super-soaker back in the day.

  • Denning is like a cross breed of Sam Neil and Bill Paxton.

  • This game was so epic back in the days :D

  • I LOOOVVEEE THIS GAAMEEE NO REEGREETT!!

  • You should have not used shotgun ^-^

  • I remember playing No remorse on windows 95 XD

  • AHHHH

    SO

    AWESOME!!

The kids these days really missed out on epic gaming.

  • the dennig scene is so cheesy LOL...classsic game ....loved it.....and still...one of my favs

  • Was "Crusader : No remorse" before or after this?

  • Someone ought to do a halflife 2 mod with the cutscenes from this and the same songs and style but in fp mode.

  • Now *that* would be indeed cool! +1 for you! ;)

  • love the old games i was 8 old when or less when i play this game :)

  • Man you really have to be a badass to don a bright red suit of armor.

  • If u hold ctrl+m (i think, its been a while) you can go through all the different tunes. There is an awesome jingle bells remix! Wicked game, wicked memories.

  • I love Crusader I wish they would remake them!

  • @Shailoch

If they remade it today, it'd turn out as some shitty FPS. And fuck that.

  • when you put cheats on near christmas it says merry christmas cheater lol :)

  • LOL. There was a freezer on this level. I see that the guy playing didn't know :)

  • This game was so awesome. Anyone remeber the game Abuse?

  • My favorite thing was to change the computer's date to Christmas, and when you played the game it would play Christmas music... I don't remember if it was regret or remorse that did that.

  • Actually that trick was in few apogee made games also

  • I was wondering who the guy in orange was. I don't have FMV's on mine unfortunately. :[

  • If i remember correct, the guy in the orange is a mercenary who eventually ends up befriending you. Think you have to kill him in the end.

  • he was a rebel quite important in the story named dennim or sth...he dies late in the game ....i was sad....cool guy

  • WTF?

I didn't know you could use the crates as stairs. I always lowered the lift

  • LOL at the mines detonating below the deck. After playing Fallout 3 and watching this, I'm convinced Bethesda could make an awesome Crusader game if they tried.

  • @PlasmicRedX Bethasda awesome Crusader Game ?? NOOO . We dont need another oblivion like fps crap :] .

  • I never played this game but i was a fan of "No Remorse", is this the PC version? looks kind of diferent, either way, Crusader was so much detailist on the 90's time, those years games used to be a lot more simple, that about alarms, detonate bombs was too much advanced for an action game years ago, pretty cool game, even now looks pretty cool

  • Fuck yeah, kill em all, be cold as ice, no pity, no mercy, no REGRET!!

  • Man, this takes me back. One of my all time favorite games. If there was one game series that truly honed the fine art of blowing shit up it was this one.

  • Ditto on that... and these were two awesome, awesome games! I loved just blowing everything up, seeing what stuff I could destroy on each section of the map...

  • I've just downloaded this game from abandonia and I have no idea how to play!

Can someone please send me the controls for this game?

  • ah sorry the cd from 1997

  • A third crusader game was planned all i have is a pic of crusader kneeling down firing his famous RP-32 gun and the name of crusader III was I Crusader for summer 97 i think but it never appeared a real shame :(

    Was origin bought by EA?

  • Unfortunately... :(

  • Origin was already owned by EA when Crusader was made.

They did kill Origin in the end, but that's a whole different matter.

The third title was "Crusader: No Mercy" (you may recall "No remorse. No regret. No mercy!" appearing on top of the DOS screen after quitting the game) and was set to be a multiplayer game.

The developers of SubSpace made a demo which Origin rejected and was eventually remade onto Infantry (Online), currently owned and operated by Sony Online Entertainment's Station.

  • i had a lot of fun playing this game...

good times with my super old pc lol.

    it was loud hahah.

  • Oh shit those robot driving parts where so fun.

  • Whoa, reminds me of Fallout.

  • This is my favorite game of all time, I have it, but cant play it anymore, I only can play no remorse on ps, fuck my life

  • i loved this game a lot....the sci fi in this game was epic.....how do i miss those days....wasn't it the cooles thing to take control of a mech a blow everything while you where safe in a room with no one around.....and the music....priceless. A shame the systems nowadays cant run this masterpiece....dosbox sucks....why the fuck,,,,do you know a way that i can play this....??

  • I have no idea.

  • I love this game, but the acting from the live action scenes are kinda bad and cheesy

  • lol, running mine off dosbox on xp, once i eventually worked out exactly what to do to get it to run(if i can still remember) the videos go very very very slowly, it it it it it will will will will keep keep keep keep repeating itself... you get what i mean lol

BTW i can get this installed in about 3 minutes now.. after reading all this BS about not being able to work on dosbox

  • you didnt find the shotgun near the first room! :D

  • i still have the cd which like from 1993 :)))

  • It was released in 1996.

  • i have vivid memories of watching my uncle play this but never got a chance to play myself

where can i get this for windows xp?

  • it seems u cant.....thats what i hate about windows xp and dos fuck....i mean ....box LOL

  • Dude! Same here man, I have very vivid memories of wanting to play this game really badly but not getting a chance to. I was watching my friends older brother play it.

  • Me too. My PC was simply not powerful enough, ran like a dog doing a shit.

  • I hate ultima online! If that wouldn't have opened we would have a new crusader nowdays! such a pitty! still being in fashion!! Lovely game!!

  • excellent this was one of my first pc games:D

  • my best game

  • I love the Crusader series!

  • where can i download this game for free?

  • Ehi guys there is a version for xp?

  • this brings back awesome memories. i played the demo when i was young as. i bought it second hand a while ago but it wont run on my computer. still, seeing it being played is good enough

  • Well now i got the game to work, but the music and FMV movies won't play. i don't have the CD maybe thats why

  • I can't get this to run on my computer even with DOS Box :(

  • Thanks for uploading. I can hardly remember this game but I remember it was really hard

  • I loved this game. One thing that I can't help thinking now tho is...why the heck didn't they make the screen follow you more smoothly? (like Diablo)

Anyway...this game rocks period. We need a sequel.

  • agreed, the game could really use a sequel ! first game i ever owned and one of my fav games from origin ( other than the wng commander series )

  • Wonderful game thanks for the upload :) That game is one of the best action games ever created. Mind if I ask you, Why didn't you activate the robot at the beginning? This game has also a lot of easter eggs hehehe like the guy from pagan ultima viii appearing in the 6t mission ;P Tony Zuroveck really rocks

  • Is there another (quicker) way to activate the first robot? Or do you mean running straight to the computer console through the soldiers to activate it?

  • yep. you have to deal with the solders in the first floor but that robot can clean the path in the whole second floor so I would recommend use it. Why didn't you opened the console of the elevator with the second robot? there is a shotgun in that little room :)

  • I've always used a data pick that you find later in a container behind some radioactive barrels to open the console. I have no idea how to open it with the robot that can be controlled remotely. I can't manipulate anything (with the s key) when remotely controlling a robot.

  • hahaha you dont need to manipulate anything...there is a floor-switch, only need to step on it :P it is just in the right corner to the white guy in your video, you can see when the floor pattern just "cuts". But when opened i suggest to self destruct the robot with the di-cor containers in the room. The robot turns evil-mode once you get to that level :P

  • and you only one det-pack to blow up the tunnels entrance, just place it in the closest place you can:-) But I think those tunnels in 2floor are unnecessary. Keep your det-packs for the 3rd and 4th floors. There are a lot of secret-tunnels there :)

  • @RMVu Behind the wodden boxes/crates on the far right, there's a switch that you can trigger by locking into and shooting at.

  • Wow, you are pretty good at this game.

  • This game was sweet :D played it as a kid, the hero always reminded me of the robots from Z

  • i think its called Crusader: No Remorse. not a big problem, just thought i'd let you know.

  • This footage is from the sequel, Crusader: No Regret.

  • Oh! thanks for clearing that up. Sorry about that.

  • i love this game! i use to play it till the wee hours of the morning!

  • Hmmm.

It's very interesting listening to that first stage track without the drums/percussion. =]

    Ace.

  • Unfortunately YouTube's compression was very efficient at removing them :(

  • ...whoa. o__o;;;

I'd die to get my hands on track filtering software with that accuracy. The drums were cleaned out perfectly; I doubt it's just a mere product of compression.

  • Apparently the drum track happens to cancel out when narrowing the stereo image or converting to mono. If I invert the other channel and then mix down to mono, everything but the drums disappear.

  • That implies the drums were in the 'middle' of the soundtrack itself (meaning they weren't panned out or anything).

Usually, they use that as a cheap algorithm for voice removal, but I never thought it might work so efficiently. o_o; Perhaps it works on anything placed in that particular frequency band...

  • Oh hell, I didn't liked this game. But this clip is entertaining... =)

  • the scream at 00:36 is the reason i played this game xD

  • I'm definitely adding this video to my favorites!

  • LOL

  • Sorry for that LOL,RMVu I love your movie,thanks

  • I feel them by the LOL was not my intention. I like your video.

  • You are awesome
