  • crazy, but this damn song is still true today.... sleepin on the white house lawn aint never changed a thing

  • I never thought I could become addicted to this "old music".. I mean they started all this 11 years before I was born (I'm 14)!! But I'm so happy that I found them (they're not very famous here in Germany -.-)

f*ck you, justin bieber, f*ck you, rihanna - I love the Goo Goo Dolls !

  • It sounds like he has a lisp in this vid. Ith thith thome kind of joke they're trying to pull on uth. Maybe it's the mic..

  • i've always dug the dumpy bass player. he gots attitude

  • Gotta love his legendary hair.

  • 2002

  • It amazes me that this song came out 15 years ago yet its no less relevant (if not more) today! One of my favorite songs by them for sure!

  • Whoa, Johnny using a Gibson acoustic live... when was this?

  • Goo Goo Dolls:Rock Gods!!! Love you guys!

  • oh Johnny.....what you do to me!!

  • what a sad song. maybe john saw obama coming.

  • A Boy Named Goo is my favorite Goo Goo Dolls album its great i really hope the new album is similar to that.

  • @fatguyinchair3 lyrically, i think this is one of their best songs.

  • @ccaccord07 ya i agree with you

  • it's really cool acoustic!=]=]

  • what is the name of the back up guiter player for the goo goo dolls one guy i think he's name is brad whats the guy in music in high places and where is he know

  • greg suran back up guiter player he was in music in high places

  • did greg suran leave the band

  • HEY, they skipped the bridge! "And my dirty dreams all come alive on my TV screen" etc.

    Unforgivable.

  • I love the Goo Goo Dolls and this song! :D

  • the guy on 0:36 kinda looks like an older Mike.

  • ha! yeah, kinda

  • I like the electric version much better

  • You're cracked, then. :) This is fucking awesome.

  • Acoustic? FTW, the song is from "A Boy Named Goo." It's "electric" on the album.

  • Meaning...?

  • never heard this one before it's a good one

  • It's off "A Boy Named Goo"! Absolutely superb album, in the top ten best of all time according to God. :) Check it out!

  • this was during Words and Music in Honor of Fahrenheit 9/11 (2005)

  • that harmonica performance at the end was bogus.

  • Terrible indeed! I missed the solo!

  • Ha, it's not BOGUS, but yeah, woulda liked the solo. I heard them do it live a few other times (electric), and it was much longer, and they did this really cool thing at the end.

  • If you type in "Goo Goo Dolls Give A Little Bit NBA" that performance is definitely from 2005 and they look exactly the same in that video as they do here.

  • now that i think about it, i think its from early GF era. john and robbys hair, johns voice, and greg suran still performing with them gives it away. still a great video!

  • It's so great to see this.Just can't stop loving this song and GGD. They're definitely the best!

  • This is from January 2005.

  • john and robby look a bit young for it to be 2005.... im thinking maybe 2002 or 2003?

  • this was the gutterflower era, the 08 hob concert was way different. mike's drumset his from the gutterflower era

  • this is awesome. when was this performed? I'm guessing during the Gutterflower era b/c of the hair?

  • no, that can't be right. this is definitely during the gutterflower tour as I see greg suran as guitarist..

  • thanks so much for adding this video!
