these guys have great live performances. seen them in pittsburgh when they opened for children of bodom. first time i ever heard of them, and i was very happily surprised. these guys are great!

I am actually a huge fan of Bodom, and they're the whole reason I showed up there (also Obscura was playing as well). But Damn, Septicflesh just completly ruled the stage man. They are a seriously amazing band, and amazing live.

i guarantee you every christian sins knowing what they're doing every once in a while, if not frequently. praying helps, i know that, but music is such a stronghold that i refuse to pray at times so i can listen to certain music with more ease. it's a horrible stronghold that i have been dealing with for a very long time, but this happens in the christian world and isn't completely escapable. it can however, be prevented a lot from praying a lot and putting mor effort into it.
don't forget soul embraced and antestor :) yes, i am fully aware that there are alternatives which is why if i find a christian metal band that i like that sounds like a non-christian metal band i like i listen to the christian one instead. however, much of the christian metal has such poor recording quality that it hurts my ears. look, you caught me on listening to a band to an extreme i never listen to otherwise. evil is evil of course, but i am much more clean than i imply.

@edmaster44 That sucks dude, We have record Stores in Norway that sells Metal CD's Lucky for me, but it cost 200-300 NOKS, Which is Really Pricey...That is around 20-25 euros, you can buy food that can last you 2 weeks with that money.But I know how it is In America, been there for a long time, No Metal Record Stores and they are harder to find, but not to hard if you are in NYC.

I love foreign music more than anything and i also make it a point to try and listen to bands from different countries. After i discovered this band and realized they were from Greece it motivated me to discover more bands from that country. These guys are just as melodic as they are aggressive. Almost remind me of Opeth in some respects. Anywayz lovin the tunes and hope to find more!

@Fluffypopcicle SF are NOT christian, they have a lot of Satanic imagery and lyrics. I dont know their personal lives, i dont care. Their music is AMAZING, breaking genres,creating new sounds,vitalizing the metal scene.
If I was a real "Christian" I wouldnt listen to their music, for it contains a lot of things ANTI-Jewish gods and it goes against your faith.
In my case, metal is my religion and I enjoy: SepticFlesh,Parakletus,God Dethroned,Extol,Iron Maiden,Stryper, etc

Anyway, they sing about paganism and occultism (read: Virtues of the Beast; and by beast they dont mean jesus XD)
Plus, they dont have to be satanic for you not to listen to them. They are part of the "world" youre against, so you would be a hypocrite if you still choose to listen to them.

no, i would be a hypocrite if i enjoyed the lyrics. i enjoy the melody, not the message. oh, i can't find the lyrics to the song, but i get the idea on what it's about and it's very anti-christian sounding. despite this, i still listen to certain songs. no matter what a christian does he/she is a hypocrite and always will be. why? because we sin. we preach about coming away from sin, but we can never completely escape it in this life.

You say no matter what a cjristian does, is always a hypocrite? I dont think so. Hypocrisy is pretending to be/do something. While you can prevent from doing it. But if you freely choose to do it, then it becomes a hypocrisy.
Pray to your god for strength so you can overcome the carnal desires of the flesh, and stop listening to music that doesn't glorify your god.

i guarantee you every christian sins knowing what they're doing every once in a while, if not frequently. praying helps, i know that, but music is such a stronghold that i refuse to pray at times so i can listen to certain music with more ease. it's a horrible stronghold that i have been dealing with for a very long time, but this happens in the christian world and isn't completely escapable. it can however, be prevented a lot from praying a lot and putting mor effort into it.

Pantokrator, Majestic Vanguard, Holy Blood, Encryptor, Mortification, Tourniquet, Amacefer (Israel), DivineFire,Extol,
Immortal Souls,Parakletus,Schaliach,Crimsom Thorn,Slechvack,Aletheian,
Check their respective record label, and im sure you will find more.
As a friend to a fellow christian friend, I recommend you these.

don't forget soul embraced and antestor :) yes, i am fully aware that there are alternatives which is why if i find a christian metal band that i like that sounds like a non-christian metal band i like i listen to the christian one instead. however, much of the christian metal has such poor recording quality that it hurts my ears. look, you caught me on listening to a band to an extreme i never listen to otherwise. evil is evil of course, but i am much more clean than i imply.

@edmaster44 That sucks dude, We have record Stores in Norway that sells Metal CD's Lucky for me, but it cost 200-300 NOKS, Which is Really Pricey...That is around 20-25 euros, you can buy food that can last you 2 weeks with that money.But I know how it is In America, been there for a long time, No Metal Record Stores and they are harder to find, but not to hard if you are in NYC.

@edmaster44 there are metal record stores in america. you just gotta be in the right area. people from other countries forget that america is truly a huge country, both in geography and culture. i live in the San Francisco bay area, and it's pretty difficult NOT to get sucked up in the metal scene around here. and i don't take it for granted, i'm fucking blessed to live right here in the epicenter of the american metal scene.

@kishkabob3721 I did not forgot america is huge dude, trust me i lived in NYC for years, that is epicenter of both Shitty Music and people in baggy pants and Diverse music, Lots of Metal Heads In NYC and concerts do play over there every few months, gonna go there in around March to April to see Symphony X with my Wife and unfortunately my Son wants to See Cradle of Filth, so i may as well do so.

I love foreign music more than anything and i also make it a point to try and listen to bands from different countries. After i discovered this band and realized they were from Greece it motivated me to discover more bands from that country. These guys are just as melodic as they are aggressive. Almost remind me of Opeth in some respects. Anywayz lovin the tunes and hope to find more!
