@bethRRT to stop your eyeliner from 'melting' put the same colour eyeshadow on it..they eyeliner will adhere to the eyeshadow and try to use a better quality, creamy eyeliner ..so eg if you're wearing black eyeliner use a black or maybe even a dark grey eyeshadow on top of it, apply it with a q-tip =) hope that helps

@kimandjehova you don't need primer, it just keeps the eyeshadow from moving around. I never use primer

@kimandjehova Walmart carries the L'oreal brand, they have a great primer (it was the best on Allure's best of beauty list for this year) called Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base Primer, if you don't need it for your entire face, just apply it to your lids. It's about $9dlls. I don't know of other drugstore brand primer but this one is highly rated and at a pretty reasonable price

@MissHardyOfficial pink, emerald green or even light purple would make your eyes pop and wouldn't draw attention from your beautiful eye color :) just stay away from browns or golds, those make you look old.
