Thanks again Shawn. I will never look at snow shovelling the same way. Instead of it being a chore it is going to become my off-season golf workout. Don't worry. My neighbors already think I'm weird!
This is - bottom line - the greatest golf lesson resource on the internet. Believe me, I've searched it. I love the ease of the swing and I love all of the ways you give people to achieve it. Once I get a job I'm getting a copy of your video for myself and my dad - maybe even my little brother (I'd like to beat him at golf for once in my life first.)
hey Shawn, just a comment relating more to your general theme of teaching, which is allow 'clearing' in the rotation, both back and thru.
The most amazing thing to me, is that not only it helped my golf, but also help my tennis game trementously. the 'clearing' has expanded my strike zone on the forehand side, and move the contact point more infront of the body... and because of this, the strike zone on the backhand side also improved.
an extra to dozu 888: my tennis has got a lot better recently as well and i had no idea why! i might try applying this stuff to more daily activities. cheers Shawn
Cool drill. I thought Manzella was great....not anymore. You rock amigo and I'm planning to buy your DVD once I get some extra cash. It's tough saving up money when you don't have a job;D
Hi Shawn, it's not quite so bad here in Scotland. Just wanted to say thanks a million, after 4 years of getting lessons and trying everything to stop scooping your Hogan mirror drill has worked for me, I am even getting divots. I will order the DVD. By the way, you are not just a great teacher but you are really funny.
Shawn my friend, being here in Minnesota, I would use your tip, but, I think the neighbors would think I'm on medication. I'll stick to the snowblower for now.
Shawn, you are the real deal! Thank you for helping us become better golfers with an understanding of how our body should perform to strike the ball more solid.
can we add to this as after you throw it over your shoulder, you then swing the shovel back through and try to hit the snow with the back of the shovel! even if it wont help your swing, i bet it'll be fun!!!
this will help on the torturing wait for golf season, hey, maybe even make a few bucks!

I hate the snow, but this will definitely make shoveling it more bearable. Thanks.

it's summer here in australia, so i'll borrow your drill and head down to the beach to toss some sand.

Another great tipss Shawn! I wish my two young & I were there - while practicing the drill, they could enjoy the snow I tossed to them! ;)
BTW, the DVDs' were excellent! A few tips there (not on the video clips here) have helped me tremendously around the green. Thank You!

I guess you could use a shovel at the beach! I could use a little of that right now too! :)
