were i live in the midlands i am always seeing the aircraft making their approach to birmingham airport and i saw the A380 turning into Birmingham and i couldnt beleive what i saw
Aha yeh thats true mate! I live In the centre of Birmingham so need to get the bus from the Bullring. Where is the best place to watch this aircraft land from?
In response to the 250Kts query ... the tower controller is saying " wind check 250 degs 12 kts " and not a reference to 250Kts at all . The wind speed and direction would have resulted in a 12 kts crosswind , hence the tower transmission .. The aircraft approach speed would have been in the order of 160 Kts .. Hope this clears things up ..
Did everyone know that they were going to do a flyby or was it luck that you just spot it?
