@davidmerle79 it would help with taking shots and changing levels, like say your diving for someones leg, it would help endure that, its basicly a movement workout for wrestling, like how sports have movements that you repeatedly workout over a long period of time, thats what a hindu push up in wrestling is used for, to train your shots and reset when you fail on a shot.
in answer to several breathing questions: exhale in starting position; inhale coming down and forward; exhale returning to starting or top position..time your inhales and exhales keeping them the same length. breathe through your nose only and do not hold your breath! vary the "speed" by controlling your breath!
don't know if u found out or not, but if u did tell me, but im gonna guess u breathe in on the upward position or while coming up and breathe out on the execution.
My old Football coach called them "Dive-Bomber" Push-ups, ontop of that we did dirty dogs, push-jacks, and 8 count body-builders FTW

In my boxing gym we call these snake press ups/push ups. Very difficult after a few sets.
