@lucynfer24 I would go on Gun Broker and see if you can find an Arsenal Bulgarian, They are great guns, You may get one at auction for $700, its doubtful but you may find one, They are very reliable...but they really all are, they are just put together very well. I have owned every AK out there, And the Bulgy is in the top 4 of my choice.

i have dome a few things with mine, clearcoat on the wood and reddot and 74 muzzle brake and such. this has to be the best looking ak i have ever seen, great job! i don't know if i would even shoot one that good looking!

@EnochMcDonald They are the bottom of quality of the AK world! They will funcyion just fine but the quality is very poor, High Quality AK's are the Arsenal Bulgarian, the original Mitchel Imports Yugo and the Original Polytechs and Norincos, they are top of the line.

@36000408 All Ak's will make a mark from the safety, not a big deal, it will not flake the paint, the paint is thermo cured like Engine paint or BBQ paint, will not come off. but will leave a safety mark, but who cares, if the gun was mine, Id hang it on a wall and leave it alone.

@lordquiles Actually it wont, its flexible, the stuff is a plastic that can handle vibration flexing, heat up to 200 Degrees and all weather elements. I have ran in my full auto ak 200-300 rounds one after the other till barrel is smoken and hit the receiver with a thermo thermometer and it never goes over 200, the barrel will, but the barrel has no MB clear on it. Just baked on Thermo cured moly.

I would not tackle that type of job, Id be in the funny farm trying, Stain bleeds, it could be stained then taped off and painted stripes on, but I think that would look as gay as our Government.
