Roy was raised on R&B/Soul/Funk/Hip Hop, he learned 2 play Jazz, & that's why he's so respected in those circles, not everybody can wear those different hats, i.e, ck his work on Voodoo?? Why u think cats like D'Angelo, John Mayer, Common, E. Badu, Dizzy Big Band call on him?
