it's spelled "RAIDEN" in most versions now... but in MK1, MK2, (SNES) and MKT... it was spelled "RAYDEN"... whatever the case is... thass how his friendship his performed... no matter how I put it or you... it can be done... I just prefer in a quick finger fashion.

No... there's no way that this kid is related to Ashrah... Ashrah is from the Netherrealm and alot of people see her as a female Rayden when she's not, she's a really pretty demon. This has to be Shao Kahn's kid or Rayden's kid.... one way or another, he's from the Heavens.

Rayden and Shao Kahn are brothers... 3 forms of oral proof are in the movie MK: Annihilation... Rayden says that Shao Kahn is his brother after Sonya finds the tattoo on Rayden's back, Shao Kahn calls him his brother althroughout the movie, and Shinnok (who was once an Elder God & is Shao Kahn and Rayden's father) refers to them both as his sons. Need I say more?
