  • Those couldn't have been your first dolls, they look professional!

  • @halcyonlurker thank you! o.k its not my first doll, but my first ball jointed doll ^__^

  • @kitebabe05 how much does the materials cost that you used?

also could you make a video, video of you prepairing the puddy, shapeing the face and all that??

  • i cast not in resin, sorry.

many bjd manufacturer make the hollows after the cast, otherwise the siliconemolds are too complicated/ expensive.

  • @kitebabe05 so it IS okay to make your doll out of clay and not worry about casting in resin? I really want to make my own, but every research I do leads me to casting. and I definitely don't have tons of money to spend on that and I'd rather not deal with the toxic part of it. >_> I wish I could find more resources and 'how to' books. xP

  • @randomwoot exactly, I would not use the toxic resin, porcelain is a very good, noble alternative. I work with it.

It is very tough and has a much more refined look and feel as the plastic / resin.

ok that is true, to build the molds is quite complicated ....=.=°

  • @randomwoot I suggest using puppen fimo, which is clay which is basically designed to sculpt dolls. It's an oven baking clay, and many professionals use it and the good thing is it's nontoxic. It also comes in different skin tones.

  • Oh! Cute original BJD, btw, may I ask U? Do U know the international online shop to buy a styrofoam? I've difficult to find it! ^^;.

  • @sazuist thank you. sorry, i dont know, i use styro from the hardware shop (insulation boards are good for use).

  • It is so cute<3 I love it. :D You are an amazing artist!

  • @DrawingsByEhvh thank you ^_^

  • Hello i was wanting to make a ball jointed doll and was wondering if you can make a tutorial on how to make the torso and possibly how to string it?

that would be verry helpful right now i am working on a head cause thats all i know how to do.

    Thanks!

  • Do you cast it in resin afterwards?

  • @O3Opanda no, i had cast it in papermachee, just 2 dolls. my new dolls i cast in porcelain.

  • Hi How I can buy a doll like yours?

  • hello, so many different bjd artstores!!

looking in google for BJD then you will find many stores like Dollzone, Soom and many more.

  • fine skills and beautiful doll!

  • thank you^^

  • rly good job!!! :O

  • Thank you for your positive feedback! All my dolls are like my children. When I sculpt, I give a piece of my soul inside the doll. Some of my lies innermost in each doll. My English is not very good, sorry.

  • She is very adorable! What an expressive face! I love that "Drowsy in Love" countenance. Tell me, honestly, after having created her and looking at her in the room, do you feel some kind of strange connexion with her? Or is she just a piece.
