  • "I am not taking sides in your politics."

There you have it, from his own mouth, this guy is a serial liar.

  • After initializing and parametrizing hundreds of unknown factors, inserting divergent proxy data and ignoring any difficult natural forcing factors,we ran hundreds of simulations until we obtained the results we wanted–an ensemble of meaningless projected results, which we then averaged. We utilized the liberally unprincipled component method to homogenize and sensitize this to produce a new hockey stick, which gave a very robust prediction (95% probability) that we are totally screwing all of you

  • this man is a fraud. please watch Dr. John Abraham's rebuddle and you will learn this man is a deciever

  • Ignore the man - analyse the points and evidence - you have a brain - use it

  • "the forces of darkness"

sounds quite ironic in his mouth

  • @r0galik Really? I'm not going to make fun of you because it's obvious that you're retarded, and it would be mean...

  • @mlawren7 so you actually do believe him? :D

  • Potholer54 has done a great job debunking Monckton's crap. Here's the first video in the series

    watch?v=fbW-aHvjOgM&feature=related

  • @Richard482 HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! TOO FUNNY! "Potholer45" !!! Some dickhead on YouTube has done a great job debunking Monckton... oh buddy you have really made my night...

  • @mlawren7 maybe watch it first, understand, then talk

  • this guy is a stooge

  • Es igual!!!

  • the free market wiped trillions off of the global economy you massive twat

  • Monckton is the worst huckster to hit the circuits in decades. I suggest that everyone watch this detailed rebuttal to Monckton's presentation.

    stthomas . edu/engineering/jpabraham/

  • @robhoneycutt You sir are a leftist with no regard for the truth. I have no interest in any of the tripe you and your socialist ilk peddle. The lies your alarmists have told, the damage they have done is all unforgivable.

  • @fishinwflies Hear, Hear . . . much needed and well said

  • Comment removed

  • @robhoneycutt Right after I watch the bullsh*t "story of stuff" lie. How about while I'm doing that you read the trends of warming from the temperatures in your library over the past 150+ years, then read what the definition of an ice age is and tell us what you find. Read, think, learn . . .

  • @xtaxplayer I can guarantee you right now that I know far more about this issue than do you. Go ahead. Make my day.

  • @robhoneycutt Tell me O' Wizard of Oz I await your knowledge. Please save me from the steaming hot climate.

  • @xtaxplayer That is exactly what entrepreneurs do. When we're allowed the opportunity. Problem is, when you have entrenched industries like oil and gas, entrepreneurialism gets stifled because it's a threat to the status quo. Ask any entrepreneur and you'll get the same answer.

  • @robhoneycutt Any entrepreneur will agree with you? You are wrong. Maybe you should try industry or business before you attempt to speak for them. I say you are wrong, and being an entrepreneur that destroys your comment. I was in the Re-manufactured antifreeze business which was extremely lucrative. I have build and ran many businesses and final fault with your comments. I can only take from your comments that you are young and naive or that you have never tried to test yourself with success.

  • @xtaxplayer I was going to send you a private message detailing out my business experience but you seem to have already blocked me.

Suffice to say, I'm a very successful entrepreneur.

  • @robhoneycutt Yup, very successful if you mean selling hate. Tell me smiley, what have you been successful at that causes you do blame big business? Straighten me out here. You are an entrepreneur that says we should tax American's to heat there homes and drive to work in order to give this money to the United Nations, George Sorros, Al Gore and China. China that doesn't have to follow this regulation and this is good for America? You should hope they done tax that pipe your smoking.

  • @xtaxplayer Selling hate? That's a bizarre response.

Not blaming big business. Actually I'm trying to promote big business solutions to a serious global problem.

And China? They're actually investing about 10X what we are toward these issues.

Turn off Fox News and read a book for goodness sake.

  • @robhoneycutt Investing?? Are you really that uneducated?? They are producing larger amounts of pollution everyday. Do you mean they will plant the trees for businesses to be "carbon neutral"? that is a money making scheme, or is that the type of entrepreneur that you are selling swamp land to people with the force of the government needed behind you?

  • @robhoneycutt I do block anyone that leave's unreadable post's on my channel just to do it. On the other hand an educated post is answered. I have "friends" that I don't agree with. But, they, and I , have discussions that are civil. Now you and everyone here knows . . .

  • Thank the God for Lord Christopher Monckton.

  • The hoax is over.

Lord Monckton. Thanks for leading the way.

  • Polls now show that the percentage of people who believe in global warming is down to the same number that believe in ghosts. Tapecutter59, Oooooooo, rattle rattle rattle, BOO!

  • @fishinwflies Just because stupid and angry is currently the fashion in the US doesn't mean that the rest of us should turn science into a popularity contest.

  • @Tapecutter59 I hate to break the news to you, but the left are the angry ones. I have actual data on my side, which includes millions of years of paleoclimatolgy, proving beyond a doubt the the warming that ENDED in 1998, was in no way unusual. In fact the last interglacial period was far warmer than today and there was no permanent sea ice. Sticking to the AGW theory in light of this and more is scientific misconduct.

  • @fishinwflies Dude your pants are on fire.

  • @Tapecutter59 Dude, I'd check your own pants, And the pants of Phil Jones and Michael Mann while you are at it. Now go ask your mom if it is OK to be on the computor. What a child.

  • @fishinwflies Lets all go back to the last intergalcial period, when the sea level was tens of metres higher. Another excellent idea, especially as the seaside villas of the deniers will probably be the first to go. At least that will be a small pyrrhic victory.

  • @fishinwflies Unfortunately, the number of people who believe in ghosts is up.

  • Mad Monckton's act is part of the Melbourne comedy festival, right?

  • @Tapecutter59 Your degree is the real joke. What a waste of money that was.

  • @topologyrob You can't wake someone up who's pretending to be asleep .

If you really want evidence , Which I doubt , google Richard Lindzen . Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology, Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

  • The Earth has been cooling since 2001 .

The oceans have been cooling since 2003 .

Antarctic ice is at a 30 year high .

Arctic ice has recovered its losses .

    What warming ?

" How fortunate for governments that the people do not think ."

    Adolf Hitler .

  • Big oil couldn't give a damn either way.

They will always make money and are heavily invested in this AGW scam.

Isn't group-think wonderful. No need for conspiracies.

    Dave.

  • lol "Big oil"!!! Have you got evidence of this money flow? Have you proven the link between raised CO2 levels and temperature? Explain why the ClimateGate protagonists have such a dichotomy between their private and public discourse on the matter? Explain the phrase "hide the decline". Explain why the software released as part of the ClimateGate scandal proves that ANY data would've still produced graphs with a rise in temperature.

What was that you were saying about "groupthink"?!?

  • Did you read what I said?

    Dave.

  • You can't deny what is being said - "global governance" is there in black and white.

  • I believe the Lords claims. But the beautiful thing about misinformation is that it's really easy to do. For example.

I can tell you that the color blue is accually the color red, Granted some people will know what the color blue looks like. But others who are less informed depend on the 'experts of colors' to know what blue is. So if they said "This is blue" when it's actually red. They can get away with it if they spread their teachings though media they own.

  • We need more people like Lord Monckton in this world that are moral, good human beings not driven by greed. Love him.

  • Real men don't shirk their responsibilities to future generations by hiding behind the shonkiest of excuses for scepticism.

  • @jbrider555 Any idea how much money Monckton is making being a huckster on the speaking circuit?

  • @robhoneycutt Debate the issue.

  • @jbrider555 Watch this video first....

    stthomas . edu/engineering/jpabraham/

  • @robhoneycutt Much less than Al Gore and George Sorros, How accurate was that. Absolutely correct isn't . . . schmuck.

  • @xtaxplayer Nope. Actually, Al Gore's version of climate change science is far more accurate than Monckton's. This guy willingly and knowingly lies through his teeth.

  • @robhoneycutt Yup Al is a truth teller. His wife trusts him why shouldn't I . . . Oh wait she doesn't trust him either. You must be one of the only one's that trust him. Do you help him with his second chakra? He is such an honest man.

  • @robhoneycutt You clearly don't base that opinion on reallity. It is false, and the reason Gore will not debate anyone on the subject. He is the liar. You are a brainwashed, ignorant fool. Wake up.

  • Here's a GREAT piece on Lord Monckton.

Google Monckton Scotsman and click on the first item.

I don't know why the mainstream media doesn't pay more attention to this man.

  • @topologyrob

I really think you'd like the piece in the Scotsman newspaper about Monckton, January 2007. Seriously, get back to me after you read it.

  • Is it the one about the jigsaw puzzle? Priceless!

  • @topologyrob It's the one about Christopher Monckton will say anything, even if he knows for sure it's a lie, because it will make him money.

  • Yes, I just read it. Very funny and instructive.

  • Tossa

  • God bless Lord Monckton!!!

    Enough IS ENOUGH!!!

I know exactly how the alarmists will reply:

"This doesn't disprove the 'science' of Global Warming!" Gee, he never said that.

But Climategate destroyed our naive trust of the "scientific experts" who invented it!

  • Maybe you'd better look a bit closer at Climategate if you are persuaded it shows any problems with climate science.

  • @Laursaurus

Time to get our guns back people. Going to be alot of cleaning up.

  • You watch, the stupid welfare dependent Aussie's will vote Kevin Rudd back in. Good luck, you're going to need it! Ha ha!!

  • A true humaniterian gentlman deserving of his title unlike most !

  • We need a hundred more like him. The AGW scam needs to be stopped and the guilty parties prosecuted.

  • Please provide reliable evidence that the tens of thousands of scientific papers establishing AGW are part of a gigantic conspiracy and scam. Meanwhile, explain how all those papers are false.

  • Awesome guy is awesome

  • Awesomely stupid, I agree

  • Thank you for smoking!

  • 9:30 - single biggest rhetorical posture ever.

  • continue what you're doing mr. monckton!

  • Showing the world how dumb denial is - hopefully it will wake up the world to the danger we're in

  • thank you lord monckton! greetings from germany! please fight for the truth! al gore is really an al who*e of the money. we must stop him!

  • 10/10 lord monckton very very good talk.

I've posted it onto my facebook group the round earth society, hope that's OK.

  • I am doing the same (sharing on my facebook + twitter

Excellent lecture , simply put, easy to understand, no frills

    THANKS Lord Monckton!!!

As he said "VOTE THEM OUT!!"

  • Global Warming is a joke Greenpeace will have to come up with another scam

  • Interesting IP you have there sjdoc.......

  • Pain & suffering is what its al about keeping th negativity level as high as possible we R being made unworthy if we R found unworthy an evil will B unleashed that no 1 can comprehend we watch as the rate of engineered disasters wars sky rocket and death tolls in th past 8 years HIT hundreds of millions at th hands of elected humans who R in reality monsters and all right under our nose

We deserve nothing less than the storm that is coming

My spirit 4give us as we still no not what we do

  • Thank you Chris Monckton

  • @147258GS

    progressive scumbag

  • @147258GS .......?

projecting your own inadequacy is the oldest trick in the book.

  • If you want to get the Real Story.. Watch

    Kevin Rudd on ETS flv

    Its the truth....

  • So China is going to build 1-2 COAL plants every week for the next 10 plus years.

    hum

52 x 1.5 x 10yr = 780 NEW COAL PLANTS this decade in China alone. Greenpeace must be having a cow.

  • Monckton is The Man.

  • Greetings,

I feel that one should debate/criticise the issue that he is representing rather than criticise 'the person'.

  • The is right!

An Al Gore simply will not debate Lord Monckton.

Gore will make a Movie and send it out across the WORLD for ALMOST Free - but won't stand up and defend it.

  • @trihexninja666-And what democratic process gave you the title "trihexninja666 "?

Don't just talk "logic", show it. Give us the syllogism.

  • Minor premise: Lord Monckton is a hereditary peer that in 2007 sort to govern in the House of Lords through a non democratic election by the right of inheritance alone.

  • For someone who says they "agree with his views of global warming" you seem to be going out of your way to discredit him. The house of lords is a soverign chamber of parliament that has made the britain the superpower it is today. I suppose your against the royal family too since it is not democratically elected? Or for that matter any judicial appointment or cabinet selection not directly made by the people? Gee alot would get done in your country. There'd be a referndum any time a judge died.

  • Your'e correct in your observations that countries with dictators get more stuff done and how superpowers are born. That comes from as Lord Monckton points out, having no one to be accountable to. Yes all democratically minded people would be against any royalty unless they are hypocrites. It is governing leaders that should be democratically elected to then choose the civil servants that anyone has a right to become, like judges and cabinet members. An Indirect democracy not a born tyranny.

  • @trihexninja666 ad Hominem FAIL.

  • Thank God for Lord Monckton...

what would happen to us all if we did NOT have a few intelligent, logical and courageous men out there tackling the tyrants at face level...?

  • I agree!

  • There is global warming you fucking jagbag!!! If we don't start giving our governments all our money they won't help us stop the aliens that are causing it....You people need to wake up and realize that this climate tax is going to help us from the damn alien robots who are destroying this planet from space....

  • @Dmac11a666 Yes! The fake alien invasion is coming next, why do you think all the governents are releasing their bogus 'x-files?!

'if we don't submit ourselves to the Global Government they can't protect us from the evil aliens in fake rubber masks, or is it the asteroid? I lose track of their fake scary apocalyptic scams.

  • They're not fake aliens are using planet niburu to make robots.....And when they are done making all the robots on niburu they will send the planet to collide into earth......Then they will destroy the robots they made and take our souls.....

  • I know they talk to me all the time..

  • You son of a bitch!!!!

  • Never believe any story that involves money...

And that does not leave to much to believe in these days....

  • Your thesis makes almost as much sense as the idea that many thousands of scientists around the world for 150 years have been conspiring to hoax the public - really sensible.

  • If its not a a bs way to get money out of people, then prove it....All the data has been proven wrong and useless...Its ok to emit carbon as long as you pay for it....LOL

  • The evidence is very strong, and it would take hundreds of pages to list the scholarly papers. Here's one that is a good starting place as it is a meta-study of a great volume of evidence:

Rosenzweig et al. 2008. Attributing physical and biological impacts to anthropogenic climate change. Nature, 453, 353-357, doi:10.1038/nature06937.

It's freely available as PDF on Google Scholar.

Can you substantiate your claim that "all the data has been proven wrong and useless" - what are your sources?

  • Satellite readings of temperatures in the lower troposphere (an area scientists predict would immediately reflect any global warming) show no warming since readings began 23 years ago. These readings are accurate to within 0.01ºC, and are consistent with data from weather balloons. Only land-based temperature stations show a warming trend, and these stations do not cover the entire globe, are often contaminated by heat generated by nearby urban development, and are subject to human error.

  • Would you mind giving a source or two for that? The information I have is almost the opposite of what you are claiming here.

See, for example, Qiang Fu et al 2004, "Contribution of stratospheric cooling to satellite-inferred tropospheric temperature trends," Nature 429, 55-58.

  • All predictions of global warming are based on computer models, not historical data. In order to get their models to produce predictions that are close to their designers expectations, modelers resort to flux adjustments that can be 25 times larger than the effect of doubling carbon dioxide concentrations, the supposed trigger for global warming. Richard A. Kerr, a writer for Science, says climate modelers have been cheating for so long its almost become respectable.

  • Got a source for that Richard Kerr, with evidence so that it's not just an appeal to authority?

  • Joseph L. Bast is president of The Heartland Institute

  • ? Joseph Bast being the president of a Big Oil and Big Tobacco front organisation has to do with what?

  • Timothy F. Ball, former Professor of Geography, University of Winnipeg,Robert M. Carter, geologist, researcher at the Marine Geophysical Laboratory at James Cook University in Australia: "the accepted global average temperature statistics used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change show that no ground-based warming has occurred since 1998 ... there is every doubt whether any global warming at all is occurring at the moment (June 2007), let alone human-caused warming.

  • Again, could I ask you for a source - a cited reference in a scholarly publication - rather than an appeal to authority.

  • The point is that the evidence is not there, no one can agree on it...Scientists can argue all day long...However, alarmists are the ones caught cooking the books and talking about taxes and carbon trading bs...There is no solid case for either side yet...Til all the proof is there how can one blindly believe in something while the trial is still ongoing, cause tomorrow might emerge the next piece of evidence that will tip the scale in the other direction ...

  • I have cited evidence - you won't be persuasive if you don't deal with the data, or cite someone who has done that. What I see is a huge collection of evidence supporting the science and nothing but a smokescreen from the people doubting anthropogenic global warming.

You could start by pointing to some solid evidence for your claims, as I have done several times here.

  • Robert M. Carter did deal with the data like i stated...Do your own research...Why doesn't al gore ever debate anyone on the data? Cause he knows he will have his ass handed to him... Did you watch James Inhofe speach? I'll give you a link of 60 scientist deniers. Observational evidence does not support today's computer climate models..

  • It's not a matter of me doing my own research - it's just that I've asked for you to back up your assertions with some evidence. It still has not come - linking to names of scientists is not the same as producing reliable evidence, as I have done by citing sources in the leading science journals which include data that is open for you to check out.

Al Gore, I imagine, doesn't debate those who are not prepared to give evidence, rather like creationists who scientists rarely debate.

  • Data that has been debunked....

  • Show us where it's been debunked - how do you know? References to science journals?

  • Why does a scientists claims have to be in a journal..Is that your god?

  • No, but we need some reliability for evidence.

What are you providing? The peer review process is a filter that ensures claims are not made without evidence. A bit like law courts.

  • LOL Bullshit science journal entries have been proven wrong in the past and will continue to be proven wrong..

  • Where? When? How do you know?

  • Evolution..

  • I'm done debating this with you as we are not scientists...There is a good fight for both sides but no convictions yet...So til there is I will remain skeptical just cause people have alot to gain from it...

  • Science journal is about as good of evidence as top scientists i have listed..

  • "Top scientists" is an argument from authority.

All I'm asking for is how you know what you're saying - what is your reference? Where was it published, peer-reviewed or not?

How do you find evidence you can trust? What makes it reliable?

  • Proving and providing data for something that doesn't exist is what I did, cause that data is based off inaccurate computer modals...Therefore is not fact, which is why the debate is still ongoing and is crumbling to pieces...Notice how the media is no longer hyping this garbage up...

  • It was only 30 years ago that many of today's global-warming alarmists were telling us that the world was in the midst of a global-cooling catastrophe. But the science continued to evolve, and still does, even though so many choose to ignore it when it does not fit with predetermined political agendas.

  • Would you care to substantiate that claim? There were a tiny few who were claiming that - almost all climate scientists in the 1970s and 1980s were convinced that warming was occurring. There was nowhere near the data collected at that time as now, so conclusions were more difficult to reach.

Fortunately we are in a much better position to judge now, having acquired so much data - and virtually all scientists working with this data are convinced that AGW is real (see the paper I cited above)

  • The science is an ongoing science which would be impossible to determine as of this time...

  • I agree - it's always ongoing. But the chances of global warming not being primarily affected by humans are getting vanishingly small - the ongoing science has been trending towards the certain more and more.

    Doesn't this worry you?

What evidence would it take to persuade you?

  • I would need evidence that would not be controversial or motivated by money...I would need it to be settled and not have equally qualified scientists fighting over science that we cant determine as of yet...I would need people not to lie and say the only way is to stop it is to tax everyone but the rich who have carbon credits.Real unbiased evidence...And its just not there evidence has been cooked, code has been noted to be modified, emails have been seen..Not enough evidence to convict..

  • Perhaps you'd better actually read those "climategate" emails - you may be quite surprised.

Also, why not try reading some of the science? I imagine you would be surprised.

  • @topologyrob Well, aren't you just wrong, It has been cooling since 1998. The caps are getting larger, the seas getting cooler. You are the puppet of of people who have made billions in carbon trading, which is the greatest fraud in world history. You are an idiot, now shut up and pay attention to this video.

  • Would you care to cite some evidence to support your claim that the globe (I assume you mean) has been cooling since 1998? That's not what I understand to be the facts - perhaps you have some reliable data to show that your claim is accurate?

  • @topologyrob , How about Phil Jones? The head of the CRU. You guys considered him a reliable source when he said man was warming the planet. He Now says there has been no warming since 1998. He also admits that none of the research from CRU or the IPCC is reproducable. By the rules of science it has to be discarded. Game over jackass.

  • You may want to go back and read the full interview Dr Jones gave from which quotes were widely taken in the press. You may discover that you've been misled as to what he actually said.

But if you'd like to cite some actual evidence, I'm all ears - none has yet been forthcoming for such claims that I'm aware of.

  • @fishinwflies I really feel sorry for people like you who get their science from the tabloids. What's it like living in a world where the vast majority of the worlds scientists are corrupt and vested interests are the fountain of truth? A world where a "for hire" conspiracy theorist like monckton is regarded as a credible source of information but institutions such as the royal society and the national academies of science are mad houses full of idiots?

  • @Tapecutter59 Unlike you I get my science from scientists. Look at the N. ice cap sat data from NASA, growing not shrinking, ARGO buoy data, oceans cooling not warming. Upper atmosphere temp data by sat, cooling not warming. These are true statements. Your side is the one lying. It will harm science, the left and real environmental policies in the end. You do nobody a service with your lunacy. Read the CRU e-mails. It's the brainwashed minority, like you who deserve pity, not I.

  • Hey top me again, still fighting for Gore? When you going to admit your wrong about some of this? I'm sure your a fine fellow but can you find nothing in this vid that makes you think?

  • @TheKickerboy99 I'm afraid the guy simply reminds me of my grandmother upon hearing her husband had died - she simply repeated "he's ok".

How can anything coming out of the mouth of Monckton be trusted when he goes around repeating claims that he has had shown to him repeatedly to be false and misleading?

I'll gladly admit I'm wrong when evidence is presented - seriously, there is none I've seen so far.

  • @topologyrob Dr Phil Jones himself has stated " there has been no statistically significant warming since 1998 " Fact . The Oceans have been cooling since 2003 . Fact , go check for yourself .

  • well said

  • Paleoclimate scientist Bob Carter According to official temperature records of the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in the UK, the global average temperature did not increase between 1998-2005. "this eight-year period of temperature stasis did coincide with society's continued power station and SUV-inspired pumping of yet more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, noted There is a problem with global warming it stopped in 1998.

  • OK, but where is that published so we can check it ourselves?

Other sources (NASA's publicly available data) say the noughties was the hottest decade ever recorded.

  • say something meaningful.

  • Need the DVD so I can show people like my old Dad who doesn't watch YouTube.

  • Don't forget, all us sceptics are funded by "big oil" ;-)

    Dave.

  • @DrDave953 Yes we are, and all our big oil bosses are ultimately owned by the same international bankers influencing western Governments and their AGW policies.

Those bankers create a fake left/right paradigm to trick the public into thinking fossil fuels are against AGW when in fact they make a mint from Carbon trading.

Bankers - "let's get fossil fuel to donate a bit to Monckton and get Fox to put Alan Carlin on and support him, then they'll both be discredited as fossil fuel whores, muahaha!"

  • No, you're just victims of Big Oil's propaganda. You've been sold a lie. It's been done before with tobacco (by many of the same cynical wimps).
