@Gwynnbleid030 Agreed. watching trailer after trailer for what was the follow up to what is one of the last great shooters of the 90's, I couldn't possibly have imagined that DNF would have turned out so damn awful. I wanted to love this game, I really did, but it just wasn't meant to be released as it was. It needed to be completely redone, and made to capture the spirit of what made classic duke so good. This isn't a "classic" style shooter, it's an awful "modern" one.

@skuxx151master5000 I'm a massive DN fan, and I spent more time watching the trailers for this game than I did playing it. It may be a Duke Nukem game, but it isn't a good one. It's the Duke License copy-pasted into a modern shooter, with rebounding health, two-weapon carry limits, driving sections (all of which suck), and a throwaway multiplayer component (because a game with an unfinished singleplayer should be worried about having multiplayer).

Even the aiming is weird, the graphics are rather dated (understood given its hectic design schedule)... The jokes just aren't funny anymore. I am a fan of the series but I think gearbox should have just made it from the ground up on a normal design schedule and called it something else to get away from the DNF moniker

duke nukem does not have health he has hig ego. the aliens dont kill him in health its just brusing his ego thats why it regenerates cause his ego returns to him when hes kicking ass when his ego goes down too low i herd his attacks increased damage. cause no alien lives when dukes ego gets brused. Hmm. To be honest, the trailer was disappointing. Duke Nukem 3D was incredible good at the time, when it came out. But the new version just looks like a sequel, that comes a decade too late. The graphics are not up to date, the look and feel are quite too old fashioned. I don't dare to judge Duke before I see the real thing coming out, but I expected way more when I started the trailer.
