Revis kinda got beat on that play if you watch him. It looked to me that Revis was in a deep coverage and just got beat a step or two by Moss. Don't take it for granted. He's is still the best corner in the league but nobody, not even the best QB Drew Brees, not even best WR Andre Johnson, not even best RB Adrian Peterson, best OLB Demarcus Ware etc is perfect. They all make mistakes. You just have to give this one to Moss cause Revis isn't just allowed to randomly changed a coverage mode.

That's not Revis' fault. The Jets were in zone defense. No one on that defense is playing man. The free safety was supposed to be over the top, but he bit down on something else. Revis was the only person who had nothing to do with this play. Great catch by Moss, great look off by Brady, and a mistake by the free safety. Plain and simple.

Cromartie, Revis, and the free safety are supposed to all be playing deep. Revis deep right, free safety deep middle, and Cromartie deep left. Linebacker and the strong safety playing the middle of the field or anything short. Instead the free safety bit down on a route and there was no one in the middle.
