I want, at least, that SE unlag the 2.1 Eclair ROM for the Xperia X8

it's a shame that SE is not giving a smooth OS on their phones. Come on, if CyanogenMod Froyo roms are smooth, then why can't you make the Eclair rom smooth? You don't want to, simple, but you have a lot of people with X8, you can see it on the MIUI poll on MIUI Rom Facebook Page, we are the most voted phone. You should reconsider making another update to X8, at least an unlagged Eclair, AT LEAST!!

We want Android 4.0 on our sweet Xperia X8! Can be seen from Sony Ericsson quickly forget about their phones ... Well my next phone will be a Samsung, or neo xperia can not? There is finally a Sony Ericsson and forget about this phone as soon as they forget about the updates ... Holy God, people! Android 4.0 is after all was to be 2.4 with corrected bugs that were in the 2.3 ... I paid about 600 PLN for the SE Xperia X8 and not get ICS? Some phones are the same price and have already android 4.0

@cokodoko Erm you think they are gonna waste time porting ICS to the X8?Some 1GHZ phones dont even have ICS.Haizzz give up man or go to XDA =D

@deathrain02 lol, ICS will never be completly smooth and stable on X8... But come on! SE should at least give us a smooth Android 2.1 or 2.2, wich are the most stable and fast ROMs out there on XDA, but it lacks somethings like the Fully Functional Camera on Froyo, and Eclair is laggy. And i have some SMS problems on costum roms here in Portugal, in Eclair i can send SMS with up to 1000 characters, on costum roms it fails sending if it is with more than aprox. 300

Dual core sual core... I found out that the 2nd core(of any phone for that matter) wont do shit and is just a dead weight...

How about the battery? It seems the battery consumption would be more than that of the xperia arc/s even though the xperia s has a better battery.

Hoping that Sony can work more closely with Qualcomm, that makes this Snapdragon S3 different from HTC and the likes. Just like Xperia Play getting the special driver just for the GPU :)

"More nimble" and "better" than what exactly? Obviously having any processor "benefits the product", but perhaps a different processor benefits a competing product even more.

Wouldn't the TI OMAP 4460 underclocked at 1.2 GHz run alot faster? Snapdragon would never be my first choice. I sure hope this phone is a beast because if it's not, the quallcom chip set is a deal breaker.
