Membership of secret societies works the same way as insanity - if somebody asks you 'are you mad?' and you say 'no' then you'll be wearing white pyjamas that fasten at the back in no time! If someone says 'are you a member of X', and you say 'yes' then you're not.
cocoo222 u play to much assassins creed i think thats what it is called any way u lie for no true meaning but to make people think the un true way of what u are i have been a member of the scottish knights templar from a boy and there is no true in what you say you are a small mineded person if you think you can lie about this you fool

@cocoo222 Ahh no way! That'd be awesome to join. But your society is no simple club. It's a way of life. I doubt I'm strong enough to become one of you, but it'd still be cool to. Eh...where exactly in England?
@chowder130 dont be lied to by this man cocoo222 he is a man not worth his on time on this world. he plays to much games i think the game he is talking about is assassins some thing not shore but this man only lies trust me i am a scottish knights templar and i have been from a boy
The Order of Christ was not disbanded, they still exist today. They formed a group called The Ancient Military Orders along with The Order of Aviz and The Order of Saint James of the Sword.
The Knights Hospitallers were actually founded in 1099 by the Blessad Gerald however their history can be traced back to 600AD when Pope Gregory the great sent the Abbot Probus Built the Hospice in Jerusalem for travelling pilgrims.
Also Napolean did not "disband" the knights in Malta he took Malta from them Kicking them out. Some returned to their homes while others carried on the Knight mission elseware in the world.
@MonkeyPuzzla In that note, you should link to the websites of those that still exist, I wouldn't blame you if you avoided AKDN, but the others would be neat
@ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR There is an organisation that call themselves the Knights Templar, but they're actually a gentleman's club started in the Victorian era.
@MonkeyPuzzla P2 still exist too. I think this is a really good idea you have to compile all this info but it needs some deeper research, no offence. These orders generally never get completely obliterated- when they are 'disbanded'; they usually go underground for a while & re-emerge later in a different guise. The very disbanding of many of these groups was fake also-just a 'show' to appease their detractors. It would be great if you could mention how these Orders are connected in that sense.
@ThEmIdNiGhTiNtRuDeR My belief with these groups is that they usually start out with good intentions, get infiltrated, then the original founders either leave or die off (old age more often than assassination!), and the infiltrators continue the group but with the opposite goal of what was originally intended.
@MonkeyPuzzla That is true, that has happened a lot. I believe the same can be said of most religions too, but that's a whole other can of worms... Peace.
@MonkeyPuzzla No need the......(insert secret society name here)already did and they are watching-kidnaping-torturing-killing you right now :( You might like Nora Webster's books.
I spent so long looking over my shoulder that nowadays I have to walk backwards just to see where I'm going! As for Nora Webster - I've never heard of her, what did she write?
Yea, I've read that one - it's a really good read. When you think of some of the things that she was talking about in those days (late 20's) like Europe becoming a federal super-state, you realise that the plan hasn't changed since. Some of the societies she mentions in that were ones which I included in the Secret Dictionary.
It is obvious that we are in the dispensation of the 4th and last empire-beast of the prophet Daniel and the book of Revelations, we are under the dominion of Rome the dragon-beast. These groups are Jesuits, meaning they are phony "Christians" and practitioners of "hermetic qabalah". Sorcerers working on behalf of the devil power.
All of these organizations are intimately connected. Putting together the pieces of the puzzle of the associations and dogmas of these associations is very interesting to me. It is obvious that we are dealing with a seditious occult force with extraordinary power.
The more you look into these organisations, the more connections you find between them - for example, the founder of the Jesuits was a member of the Alumbrados (Spanish Illuminati), and centuries later, the founder of the Bavarian Illuminati was a member of the Jesuits.
@MonkeyPuzzla Exactly. There are many connections between all these groups, names, dates and philosophies. What you have mentioned Ignatius/Weishaupt and the name "Illuminati" is one of the more obvious. It is clear that the Jesuits are sort of like the public face, the public priesthood of the Illuminati, the Illuminati hides behind the Jesuits and the Jesuits hid behind the Bavarian Illuminati.
@WorshipInTruth I didn't know about Barruel until today; thanks for the info. My own personal view is there's two equal but opposite conspiracies: one to overthrow the church, the other to maintain its power. The problem now is that both sides are so full of double agents, that nobody really knows who they are working for anymore. I think most groups start out with noble intentions, but eventually get corrupted from within. The best thing is don't be a member of any group, & find your own truth.
@MonkeyPuzzla Do not fall into the whole "two conspiracies at once" garbage. It all flows from the same source. It is nothing but their hegelian dialectic to control and scare both the "left" and the "right" into submission. The Jesuits and Illuminati were formed with the purpose of WORLD DOMINATION for the "Greater Glory of God". To them, this is a noble intention. Barruel, as head of Jesuit intelligence, was perhaps the secret ruler of the Iluminati.
@MonkeyPuzzla They start a group and then simultaneously start and foment the opposition to said group. That is how they rule, it is ingenious really.
One good example of this would be the case of Niccolo Turrisi Colonna (of the elite papal Colonna family). Niccolo Colonna was a sicilian politician and the first person to ever write about and expose the existence of the sicilian Mafia [in his "Public Security in Sicily"], well it turned out that he was actually the HEAD of the Mafia.
are you sure the order of christ was founded in portugal? i'm portuguese and there's isn't any portuguese name ''Denis' neither was any king of portugal with that name'
Hi there. Denis is the English version of the name - he's really called Dinis I de Portugal (o sexto rei de Portugal). The Order is called "Ordem de Cristo" in Portuguese.
Wikipedia says: A Ordem de Cristo é uma ordem religiosa e militar, criada a 14 de Março de 1319 pela Bula Papal Ad ea ex-quibus de João XXII, que, deste modo, acedia ao pedidos do rei Dom Dinis.
@MonkeyPuzzla yea a king Dinis he was one of the kings that popularized the mordern times portuguese... before portuguese was even more looked alike to latin...but you should put the original version of the name cause people might get confused...but i talked about that order in history classes if you want to know anything more about something here in portugal or want anything translated tell me
@MonkeyPuzzla i'm just wondering if MonkeyPuzzla has the facts...seems to me he or she is off a bit...don't try and blame Wikipedia if you don't know what you're talkin about..who knows you could be an Illuminati member trying to confuse everyone...
