It was a very nice kit though, I too make a point to call it the Bf109 but am not offended by the Allied description of it as an ME, it's kind of like calling a Shelby Cobra an "AC" Cobra... neither 100% correct or 100% incorrect.
Seeing this ME109 doing low fly-by's reminds me of a day in Nov/Dec 1944 when we were evacuated to a small village south of Bonn Germany. Just couple of hundred meters high an Me 109 chased a P38 Lightning over over the village, pumping shells into the Yank. Who eventually crashed outside the village and the pilot was taken prisoner.
if you look carefully, at around 2.48 there's a sudden flash and a puff of smoke appearing from the l/h/s of the screen, is this the same technology that brought down the twin towers? Exactly what does Mr Day know? And just how far do his links reach into Hezbullah?
ive just bought a me-109 plane but im not lookin forward to my first test flight at all after seeing this lol hope my cofg is correct .....its foam made so im sure itll explode into tiny fragments of foam if it does crash .....wish me luck

It's called "bf" if the plane was designed or built before Willy Messerschmitt purchased the Bayerische Flugzeugwerke after that all planes is calles "ME"
So if this plane is an "Emil" as I see than it's a "bf" cause "Emils' were designed before the purchase of the factory.

(I'm going from memory and I dont speak German, so if the spelling isn't correct, my bad). Later in the war, the Luftwaffe used ''Me 109'', in honor of ''Willi''.
Hey Major Sorry about the crash, My Maiden tip stalled and rolled left and straight power dive in after take off, rebuilt it and it flew but dropped in on the landing and flattened the retracts lol both flights are on my site. I loved what you said "thats the fun of the Hobby" Yes it is ya have to take the flights with the crashes. its all great. good luck with the new one.
Awesome P-38, sorry about your ME-109. Crashed mine yesterday. Luckily I had an onboard camera rolling all the way to the end. Check it out if you like.

I have one of those mate. Just interested in what engine and exhaust you had. Also what % was your CofG? I have an OS 120 AX for mine. Pity about the crash, was a very scale crash, if that is any consolation!
Mine's an OS 120 AX too with a Pitts. CG was dead on factory recommendation (a third of the wing root). I thought the crash was very scale too! Too bad my cameraman dipped at the critical moment to see the aftermath! The replacement ME is now up and running and is also on YouTube - do check it out.
Hi Norm: They're all good. I'd go for the ones with the built up wings and tail rather than composite, as this makes them lighter. It means you can't do the level of detailing but you can still make a passable job.
