I have a 21' Conquest. Love it. Wish I could upgrade to the 255. Whalers are well-built and are durable beyond belief. I've fished offshore for 10 years in my Whaler, pounding through waves that kept other boats at the dock. And, they're made in the US. Hoo-rah!
She looks a little underpowered.. I have a 240 Outrage with twin 150 Verados on her - she goes like a rocket.. I also spend alot of time over the shelf off NSW (50-70km out) and have only really ever been a little concerned once when big westerlies came through.. Would upgrade to a Conquest next as the Outrage is a center console...

the boat cruised at 18 kts, and maxed out at about 33kts.
The other one I have used has twin optimax 150s and goes a lot better.

r u serious? u must be retarded. this is a 25 foot boat. the max hp is 450 so twin 225's at the most, which whaler doesnt even offer as an option
