Some great nights watching you live Gary, like Barcelona 1987, you sent out two free tickets for us, eternally grateful. Just talking about it the other night. While you rest peacefully your music will always go on moving us with its pure brilliance and emotion.
supa stonkin mega solo i learned this in 99 but never cracked the final run to oo la la at the end sound like triplets anybody know his pattern of notes ide love to learn them cheers...
This song is so amazing. yesterday I recieved my first(and far from last) Thin Lizzy CD. I got the one named "The Wild One" I love it and well this song is included there and I just love it. RIP Phil Lynott one of the best musicians ever.
Thin Lizzy do werry good videos, with Gary Moore, the videos are awesome!!! :) This is one of the best guitar solos and songs i ever heard!!!! GO THIN LIZZY!!!
Wrong. This is off of Gary Moore's "Run for Cover" album in 1985. Lynott sang on this track, but the band consisted of Gary Moore's band. Go check out the live version and you'll see Gary Ferguson and Neil Carter playing drums and keys. Not Thin Lizzy.
The same reason they put "Dear Miss Lonely Hearts", "Old Town" "Parisienne Walkways" and this song on the Greatest Hits 2 disc set. None of those songs are technically "Thin Lizzy" (although you could argue the first one, despite its appearence on a Lynott solo album). But NONE of those tracks are technically Thin Lizzy songs. People like those songs and they feature Phil Lynott, and its a good marketing strategy to include them, whether they are Lizzy songs or not.
I had road star like this, only no tremolo...:)

Moore and Lynott are credited with writing it but performed it with ALL the members of Thin Lizzy,so you need to get it right!!!!!

Why did they put this song on a Thin Lizzy album called "Dedication"?
