just checking whether it was the right person, i have in fact met liam genockey. he was playing a gig in the filo [high street, old town, hastings] with a band called buick 6. he has also played the black horse festival [a festival which used to be held at the black horse telham, near battle,] blues night alongside buick 6. he also works with other musicians in the hastings area.
Top class session drummer Liam Genockey, saw him in concert back in '93 when he played Glasgow with Gerry Rafferty's (RIP) band. Yeah he did studio work for Purple's Ian Gillan ('78 Gillan band album) amongst many others.
